In 2023, during Hurricanes Ian and Nicole my roof was damaged. To be able to replace the roof, the solar panels had to be removed and reinstalled. Lumio charged $11k to perform this service. The removal went smoothly, and the roof was replaced. When Lumio reinstalled the panels, one of the panels did not work. The tech said it was a faulty part, so he ordered it and came back to fix it. The part did not fix the problem. The tech said the whole panel needed to be replaced. One year later and they still have not replaced the panel. Every single time the appointment for service is made, I will get a notification saying the service appointment is cancelled. They wait for that very same day of service to say that the panel is out of stock and needs to be ordered. They never reschedule. I have to jump through a million hoops to get the appointment back on the calendar, just for the same situation to happen all over again. There is no explanation whatsoever as to why they do not have the replacement panel to complete service. One would think that's what they do, how do they not have panels available or why was it not ordered the moment the service is booked? I have lost count of how many calls have been made. I have written emails and even paper correspondence to Lumio to no avail. I have texted the "tech" that was supposed to show up. I am paying for these panels and continue to be stuck with one that has no functionality at all. Overall, I feel Lumio is a scam. Unfortunately, they were not my original choice since I purchased my panels from Atlantic Key and Lumio bought them out at some point. I was never informed of the buyout and had to figure it out on my own just to be basically ignored by Lumio.

Me and my Wife decided to get solar to save money after constantly being harassed by different companies and very skeptical about it we finally decided to go with Lumio due to its sales person Austin V**** who was very informative and seemed like an honest young man. We signed up they seemed very prompt and accurate the y texted me to inform me that they had an appointment for September 21st and that the equipment would be delivered 2 days before installation. Install guys showed up on Saturday September 21st and began installing the panels and running all electrical wiring and disconnect boxes, once done they realized that they were missing a breaker which goes in main breaker box of house they informed me that they would make Lumio aware of situation and would return to finish the final touches. I haven’t heard from anyone at Lumio I’ve called, emailed but to no avail, every time I call the answer service picks up and it says they are unavailable at this time all I want is for them to either finish the job or remove panels off of my roof repair my roof and take all their equipment. Today is November 26th and they seemed to be M.I.A. Thank you for your help in this matter.

Company has never delivered on their promises as it relates to a solar system and generator. The panels installed only provide a small amount of declining power and the generator does not function correctly at all.

I have tried contacting Lumio every way possible with no contact back regarding my roof leaking from the Solar Install. I have had 2 roofers come out to assess with the same outcome of the installed brackets were screwed into vents which are not meant for support causing them to lift and allow water to flow into the attic and now has started leaking into the home damaging the ceiling. I need someone to contact me to start a warranty repair asap before black mold and other damages happen.

There are several problems, the largest of which requires getting a human on the phone to explain when I will receive services after paying over $7000. I started the process of getting our solar panels removed and put back on b/c we need a new roof. On 8/28/24, we filled out the R & R form to begin the process. We waited for the invoice to come and we paid 70% down payment of $7262.50 on 10/2/24. According to the form, we would be contacted between 30-45 days after payment to schedule removal so we can get the roof we need. It's 11/18/24, now well past the 45 days. I've called and left messages approximately 10 times, but the same recording always plays. "We're sorry we can't take your call right now, please leave a message." which I do. No one has called me back, but they definitely took, or rather should I say, stole our money. Our next step would be to seek legal action. I'm not sure if this company is even still in business and would like an update.

I paid lumio $18000 to have my solar panels removed and reinstalled so I could get my new roof out on. They came out and uninstalled them after a short delay. After my roof was completed I contacted them weekly for updates and they kept saying there was no timeline but I had submitted everything they needed to move forward and were just waiting for contractors to finish the job. Months have passed and now they're out of business with no way to contact them.

I have solar panels on my roof sold to me by Lumio. There is a 10 year warranty on the panels and one of my panels is not functioning. I have reached out to lumio several times but have gotten no response whatsoever. With my panel not working, I am not producing the power I should be and I’ll result in costing my money to supplement the non functioning panel. Again, I have reached out several times but have gotten no response.

My solar panels have been having issues with the "Micro inverters not responding" since March 19, 2024 (case#******** ticket# ********). I contacted Enphase which is who I make my payment too and they ask me to contact the company which I purchased my Solar Panels from which was " Lift Energy" which I found out filled for chapter 11 and was absorbed thru "Lumio Energy" I contacted Lumio on April 3, 2024 and they sent me list and procedures on what they wanted me to do and I went thru the list and advised them that the problem was not resolved with an email October 7, 2024. They have been unresponsive after this las email. My bill with Edison is now close to $3000 and that does not include the monthly payment I continue to pay for my solar panels that do not work. I would like to get reimbursed for all the extra money I am paying too Edison due to the solar panels not working at 100%. Times are tough and this does not help.

I paid this company $10,400 on 9/24/2024 for the removal and reinstall of solar panels due to a roof replacement. The panels were removed, but can not be reinstalled because Lumio never paid the contractors to replace them. Now I’m unable to reach anyone at Lumio and am being told by the contractor that Lumio has filed bankruptcy and the company has been sold.
