    The worst billing ever.. received a collections from 2020 visit but weird thing is I had paid the hospital and they had my address correct but these guys didnt??? They are a scam. They wouldnt work with me on their mistake so I paid interest as well. Funny how it takes 4 years to rear its head. Never use IHC emergency rooms. Apparently either the clerks or the billing never have the right info. But thats the patient fault.

    I received a bill from them 10 months after my visit. Tried calling the number on the bill and it doesnt work, tried going to the website and it doesnt work I dont know how to pay this and dont want it going to collections.

    No warning, suddenly called by collections. No bill ever sent to the house, called the billing department and they can't even find my bill. How is this allowed?

    Agree with everyone else; what a joke!!! I had no time to pay my invoice, asked for one at the time of service (didn't receive it), never received the bills, then was served and my 14 year old signed for it; again, never received it. I can't believe what a joke this is!

    They billed the insurance with the trauma name, not my real name. Of course the insurance is going to kick it out! When multiple calls were made over 3 months time, they were unable to locate the account using any identifier I had. They laughed (no kidding) and said I guess you dont have to pay it! NO ONE would help me out! I had no office to go to, I had no recourse, no help at all. They could send a bill, but they couldnt find my account to correct it???? And they managed to send it to collections and get it on my credit report!! But they couldnt find my account to correct their mistake?

    I have never posted a negative review before, but had an absolutely terrible experience with Rocky Mountain Emergency Specialists and their billing practices. It's in your best interest to avoid doing business with this organization. One star is generous.

    As others have stated, one star is generous. The first **** I've received is the notice from the collection agency which included no information about the services or dates I'm being billed for, and whether my insurance was ever given the opportunity to pay. There's no contact information online for this company where I can speak to someone about my ****, only a **** collector who doesn't have any information beyond a total (which includes fees and interest I would never have accrued if I had been directly billed in the first place). I can request more information (which they will then pass on to RMES), but if I don't pay immediately, my credit can be affected in the meantime. Honestly, the only information I can find online, including how to pay bills to this company, is from people who have exactly the same problem I have - never having been given the opportunity to pay a **** until it was escalated.

    Never informed me of a ****, found out after 8 months from a debt collection letter. After some investigating I found out they were paid by the insurance company because I met my deductible. They were trying to charge me the difference on the contract price medical has with insurance companies. I have never seen this before from a company. I called them and they agree but it has to go through some review board. After reading many reviews, this company should not be allowed to do business.

    I would give less than 1 star if possible. I am seriously considering the idea of opening a class action lawsuit against them and their practices. There is clearly a history of inappropriate and illegal billing practices. My insurance already paid my ****. Federal law provides 6 months of billing before an unpaid **** can be sent to collections. Not only did I not receive a single ****, accurate or not, it was less than 3 months before it was sent to collections whereupon I received my first notice of this "debt". They lied to me on the phone about the response from my insurance and failed to follow through with emailing any of the requested forms they said they would supply. With 2 emergency rooms in our little valley, I guess I'll drive to the farther one next time.
