On January 15, 2023 I received a denial for a rental application at *************************, ******* ** based on Reasons for Result Rental History Does Not Meet Property Requirements which was based on prior residency at ************** *************** (9 mos lease). When we left ************** we were in good standing and had no outstanding charges. On May 1, 2022 I sent an email to the leasing office with our forwarding address. Never did we receive any indication that anything was still due upon move out.

Thank you for the reminder. ***********************, Area Manager for HHHunt Apartment Living, responded to this complaint.

As reported by ****************, her application to ************** was denied due to an outstanding balance. However, upon checking, we saw that she was paid in full when she moved out in April. We are not sure why her new application was denied due to poor rental reference and have contacted the credit bureau to have the information corrected. We have also refunded all fees for the application and have been in touch with Ms. ***** to let her know where we are in the process. Thank you.

I’m reaching out to flag a concern related to my new home building project with HHunt Homes of Raleigh, in the Enclave at Leesville neighborhood, which is scheduled to close on July 21st. I can provide a full history of written communications regarding my area of concern, which is the omission of a second sink in the Jack and Jill bathroom, connecting bedroom 2 & 3. I've uploaded the purchase agreement as a supporting document. Here’s a brief summary on where we stand today: - Pg. 36 in the attached "LEB 7" purchase agreement is the visual that Renee Aquilino used to disclose the available options. Opt Bedroom 3 is circled and it appears to show two sinks in the adjoining bathroom. My impression was that by selecting the optional bedroom 3, that brought with it two sinks in the bathroom. - HHunt installed plumbing for one sink with a cabinet base that’s fitted for two sinks, making the bathroom appear lopsided (see attached picture taken 7/6). Interestingly, there’s two sinks sitting in the adjoining room. So the only issue is the plumbing required to make that second sink functional - Renee recently indicated that the second sink required independent selection, apart from the bedroom 3 option. She also clarified that it was her responsibility to review structural options with all clients, after mistakenly communicating that this was a design center decision her colleague, Christine *****, would have proctored. Renee said her reason for confusion was because of a switch in that responsibility and at one point that was Christine’s duty. This leads me to believe that specific discussion was missed by both Renee and Christine On July 5th I flagged the concern and asked for a phone call, which I've been repeatedly denied by senior leadership.

I closed on the home on Jan 28th, 2022. I found multiple issues that were not currently addressed during construction of the home. Some of them seemed to fall under the "warranty" category as I was told for whatever reason. I sent multiple emails and filed many issues on the HHHunt portal and there has not been much progress for multiple weeks. I have not even heard back from emails or portal when it states I should hear back within 2 business days. It has been much more than that. This is getting ridiculous! I need some resolution on the pending items!

On Monday, April 11, 2022, Bryan S******, Director of Construction for HHHunt Homes *******, met with the homeowner to discuss the items submitted on the warranty tickets.  Right now, we are preparing a plan to get the items covered under the warranty plan repaired.

    Thank you.

Bryan took the time to meet with me to begin to address concerns that I have. First and foremost, I was simply looking for a reply back (warranty, new construction, or whomever this may be) with assurance the issues would be fixed and the proposed timeline to address them.

I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved. If the company does not perform as promised I can get back to you at: complaints@richmond.bbb.org.
