Our experience with IPM was similar. We received a "FINAL" violation notice with a fine of $80 in the mail on Aug. 24th, 2024, for an alleged refraction on July 30, 2023-- over a year had passed, with no prior notice whatsoever. The location was vaguely named as "Lot 50" and the provided photo was far too blurry to identify our car or where it was parked. We disputed the claim, since we had no proof we had parked in this unknown location. After several emails and demands that we pay, we were finally provided with a location and a highly distorted picture of our license plate. We went through old texts to confirm that we were near that spot on that day. We were about to give in and pay the $80 when we thought to look back at our checking account activity from July 2023. We found a record for $18 paid to IPM. We sent them a screenshot and a request to be notified that the claim was dropped. We never heard from them again. If it isn't fraud--and it seems likely that it is-- it's extraordinarily bad business practices. How many people have paid the $80 even though they actually paid for parking in the first place?

I guess that I was not the only one. Just be very careful when you park at their International Parking Management (***) business establishment. Try to keep the parking receipt. I received a letter (09/07/2024) from Enterprise saying that I was on parking violation (07/17/2023) near ********** In *******. I asked for proof of parking and no luck. I did not keep the parking receipt anymore. Just to get this cleared and not affecting the collection agency, I ended up paying an $80.00 parking violation plus a $5.00 transaction fee, but it did not give me receipt or payment confirmation. This time I will keep my credit card payment even I did not have payment confirmation from the *** payment website.

This company uses predatory business practices. I parked in the lot at 6th and King, and I paid for parking through the Paybyphone app, which was indicated by signage in the lot. Never received a physical ticket, nor did a receive a ticket by mail. Nearly one year later, I receive a letter in the mail telling me I have an $80 unpaid violation and threatening to send me to collections within 10 days. Luckily, I had proof of my payment from that date a year ago, and I attempted to submit a payment dispute using their website. I received no response. I attempted to email them using their email on their website. No response. I attempted to call them using the phone number on their website. It only directs you to their website, and none of the phone options lead to a person you can speak to. I am eventually forced to pay the ticket since the hit to my credit from collections would be worse than the fine. Never received any response. Numerous complaints have been lodged at this company with experiences exactly like mine. Overall, International Parking management uses predatory business practices to scare people into paying seemingly fraudulent tickets. I would argue that this is a scam, and not a legitimate business at all.

I recently received a parking violation notice (#*******xxx, letter: 7/12/24, alleged violation: 12/5/23) from International Parking Management approximately 7 months after the alleged violation date. Upon reviewing my calendar and personal records, I am confident that I was not present in the area on the specified date, nor was my vehicle parked within a 25-mile radius. My concern is not only with the delayed notification but also with the perceived threatening tone of the notice. As a conscientious consumer who respects parking regulations, I find it troubling to receive such a notice long after the incident occurred, especially without any prior communication.International Parking Management (IPM) should enhance their communication protocols to ensure that such notices are issued promptly and accurately. Clear documentation and timely notifications are essential for fostering trust and fairness in customer interactions. I urge IPM to review their procedures to prevent similar issues in the future and to provide more transparency regarding the issuance of notices. Clear and timely communication will benefit both customers and the company in maintaining positive relationships and upholding standards of fairness.I would like the business to void the fraudulent violation notice.

I parked at the 6th and King **** I paid at the ******* meter on the right of the entrance instead of the *** meter on the left of the entrance. They issued a $60 violation fee (with a $5 convenience fee to pay online). I sent their customer service team a photo of my statement showing I paid the wrong meter, and I requested they reduce the fee to the normal cost of parking, but (after escalating the ticket to their CFO), they refused to reduce the fee below the $60 violation cost.I strongly recommend avoiding parking in an *** lot to avoid supporting a company with such poor customer service policies. This interaction made me question if their bottom line depends on these spurious fees rather than providing a useful parking service.I encourage the company to:1) Post signage by the ******* meter clarifying it's not for the *** lot 2) Empower their customer service agents to reduce fees for cases like this that are clear mistakes rather than abuse of the system.

This business uses predatory and outright unsafe practices that actively endanger the public and entrap individuals into paying to retrieve their own property.First, lets talk about the unsafe business practices that IPM uses. I parked my car at the Columbia and 1st Parking Garage. I have a monthly membership. I entered the garage, scanned my card, parked my car and started toward the exit to walk out. The garage doors are all closed. Great! Lets try the walking exit doors. Nope! Both exit doors are locked, with signs saying use garage doors. ****** me this, how do I use the garage doors when they are locked shut and wont open to a person on foot? So now lets think through a scenario where there is an emergency. Say theres a fire in the parking ************** shooter, etc. THERE IS NO WAY TO EXIT THE GARAGE ON FOOT. How is that a safe business practice? How is that safe to the customers that pay IPM high monthly rates? How is that safe to literally any human being who enters that parking garage? This needs to be addressed by the company and the city as it is an active danger to the public. Now, lets talk about the predatory business practices. We pull into the garage and the sign at the front says Monday-************* closes at 12AM. Great! We show up at 6PM on Sunday to retrieve our car and the garage door is locked shut. No way in, the on site attendant phone number goes to voicemail 7 times in a row. I have a dog at home that I need to get home to. How can IPM be allowed to consistently not meet their advertised business offerings while simultaneously endangering their customers?
