I had completed a warranty claim online after two weeks I had not gotten a response so I called their phone number. I talked to a lady that told me they only covered manufacturers defects under the lifetime warranty and mine issue was not a manufacturer defect. She said she would have her boss call me. When he (**** Rules) called he told me that manufacturer defects only occur in the first 30 days despite the lifetime warranty they advertise. He was the rudest customer service person I have ever spoke with and continually argued and yelled at me over the phone accusing me of not listening to him and cutting his conversation off. The limited lifetime warranty they advertise is a lie and **** is an awful person. I had a similar warranty claim in about 2010 and had no issues getting it resolved. I was so happy with them at that point that I purchased all lamiglas fishing rods from that point. I now am regretting that decision.

They have an employee named ******** and she goes online and belittles people that have complaints about Lamiglas. Very unprofessional business.

This ************* bullied me over the phone over a limited lifetime warranty. he hung up on me. I was kind and asked him why he was raising his voice. This guy could not have possibly been a nastier man. I am just beside myself. This happened seconds ago.... I read the yelp reviews... looks like I am one of many. No new rod for me, and it was THEIR defect. Come to find out, this mean mystery man? He is the **** What? Treated me like I was a criminal while I stayed as pleasant as I would with any human being... Bad people over there, IF they get back to you. Consider yourself lucky if they neglect to get back to you! My day would have been much more pleasant without him speaking down to me. Yikes, that was rough!

Lamiglas reached out to the individual and resolved the matter to the satisfaction of the customer. The customer had a 20 year old rod that he wanted replaced for free. Lamiglas ask him to go to our online customer service site and fill out a warranty claim, he did not want to fill out a claim form. The Lamiglas GM reached out to the individual and resolved the matter. All companies have warranty customer service policies and procedures for customers to follow so companies can productively process warranty/customer service claims, sometimes customers would prefer not to follow the process. In that case we try and resolve the matter outside of the process which Lamiglas did in this case.Thank you !!
