  J & H Paving did some work for me on 10/13/22 to the amount of $12,500.00 The blacktop was not ground out and simply laid over the top. All of the blacktop came off and is still laying in piles. In May I followed up and was promised they would fix it, In June I was told they would fix it and they never showed. In July I was told they'd be there August 15th and they still have not shown up. They no longer answer calls or emails.

  On 7/19/22 we had J&H repave the entire driveway. Reason to be done: it was cracked in many places and there were low spots where water would puddle. After it was completed that same day, it rained and we noticed puddling in several places in the driveway which took more than a day to evaporate. The following day (7/20), I spoke w/ ********************* who indicated that this was "normal" and we were to wait a week from completion to see if it would improve. On 7/26 I called again and left messages on that and on subsequent days. No one returned my calls. I then called *********************** (Brother) on 8/4. ****** indicated they would come to fix the driveway on 8/5. No one arrived and the driveway is still not fixed. There are now cracks in the driveway (***** ft long) and several puddling locations in the driveway are still occurring. With winter coming, the cracks will only get worse and the puddling areas will make snow removal challenging. I had really trusted ***** when we had spoken before any labor was done that he would stand behind his work. To this day he has not stood behind anything. I've left at least ***** messages, hoping to resolve this situation without going through the BBB, but since I've received no responses, I feel there is no other alternative. We are not asking for a refund; we would simply like the driveway to be fixed - filling cracks and leveling to remove puddling areas.

  On 9/29/2021 I hired J&H to come and do my driveway after they offered me a very competitive quote. They seemed really great at first**** I was not home at the time they did the driveway, but told them to come back the next day and I would give him the check (which we both agreed to and I did). Upon inspecting it the next day when it was light out, they where no where near our painted on lines in which we wanted the driveway to be (and payed for) it was sloped towards our new garage (which resulted in water build up and our new concert foundation cracking). We have random high spots throughout the whole job. Plants have popped up threw the whole driveway, and chunks of the asphalt are popping out all over the place. THEY WILL NOT RETURN MY CALL! OR ANY MESSAGES TRYING TO GET THEM TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUES.

  I hired J&H Paving out of ******************** ** to redo my residential driveway. Its so bad it needs to be tore out and redone. Its above my new LP siding on garage so thats getting wrecked. Water doesnt flow away from garage and runs into garage, which is wrecking and flooding things. Some areas on new asphalt are less than 1/2 and popping up. They wrecked my electrical wiring to lamp post, so that doesnt work. They didnt bury wiring to code in their attempt to fix wiring.

  ***** had stopped at our house 4/21, he was doing driveways near by and one canceled so instead of wasting material he was looking for another job. Due to the situation he offered to make us a deal for $6,500 vs the $9,500 he quoted us, granted we didn't tell anyone about the deal. Right there should have been our first red flag. We agreed and he would bring his crew back a few hours later to start. Red flag number two was unfortunately after they were all done, the crew failed to clean up after themselves having made a mess on the part of the driveway we did not have blacktopped and leaving large chunks laying around. After 3 weeks we noticed weeds growing up through the blacktop. I called J&H on 5/18 to let them know of the situation, the guy I talked to told me hed come by the following week to look at it but never showed or called back. Called again 6/15, talked to *****, he said it was the first time he was hearing of the issue, said hed come out next week, again no show. After that point not only did we have weeds growing up through but it also started cracking in places as well. Called on 7/26, left a message. Called 8/11 with no answer and full voicemail, I sent an email that same day. At that point I figured they knew my number and were ignoring me so on 9/21 I called using my daughters phone, we got the machine at first but left a message inquiring about a quote and got a call back almost immediately. I answered and got the same story as before, send me your address and well come out. Texted them the address and asked for a reply to confirm they received it and would be coming by to talk, got a conformation but once again never heard from them. We texted 10/5 saying it had been 2 weeks and still hadnt heard from them. Was assured during that text conversation they were going to come fix it. Now 3/22 still no resolution and not even a year later the whole driveway will need to be redone. Don't even want them to fix a this point but refund.
