I'm having trouble with Regions Bank. I'm having credit dispute issues with Regions. I last disputed against Regions in or around 12-30-2024, through Transunion online because Regions furnished inaccurate and materially misleading info on my credit reports. Specifically, disputing due to Region's account closed date (02/17/2023) being inaccurate. On my ********** credit report, transactional dates were still reporting as current in the payment history after the closed date which made the disputed closed date on the account confusing, and the last payment date (08/14/2023) because it did not reflect in the payment history of my credit report. I sent Regions a highlighted version of my credit report provided by ********** resulting in the account being 'verified as accurate'. This is problematic because Regions neglected to reasonably investigate the matter leaving the issues unresolved. Regions failed to notice that the info it furnished to my credit report do not align. Their negligence is causing me denials. The **** 1681s-2b requires Furnishers to:(A) conduct an investigation with respect to the disputed information (B) review all relevant information provided by the **** pursuant to section 1681i(a)(2)(C) report the results of the investigation to the **** (D) if the investigation finds that the info is incomplete or inaccurate, report those results to all other **** to which the person furnished the info and that compile and maintain files on consumers on a nationwide basis (E) if an item of information disputed by a consumer is found to be inaccurate or incomplete or cannot be verified after any reinvestigation, based on the results of the reinvestigation promptly(i)modify that item of information;(ii) delete that item of information; or (iii) permanently block the reporting of that item of information.I'm mitigating and requesting that Regions fix the disputed issues or delete the account from my credit report in accordance with the ******** 1681s-2b.

Regions Bank closed my checking account on December 26, 2024. The account had my payroll check pending in the amount of $1604.57. I was told that the account was closed because I filed bankruptcy and the account had a negative balance of $458.00. They said they reversed the transaction and returned it to the employer. That was not true. After several phone calls and back and forth with customer service and branch employees. I was told that the bank had mailed a cashier's check to my address on January 3, 2025. It is now January 22, 2025 and I still do not have my payroll check. Every time I contact the bank about this I am told another lie. On Thursday, January 16th, I was told to go into the branch, speak with the manager and call customer service so that they could stop payment on the check and issue a new one to me at the branch. Once I did this and had the branch manager call, we were told that they could only stop payment, but I would have to wait an additional 2 days before they will issue the check or I could wait for it in the mail. I am still waiting on my payroll check and Regions has yet to help me. All they have done and continue to do is give me the run around and tell me what they will not do. I am in need of my money and I have been waiting for it since December 26th! This is extremely bad customer service and their lack of compassion and urgency regarding this is unbelievable. I cannot get one dependable person at this bank to resolve this issue. I asked one agent if the check was being mailed from ****** or ****** because it shouldn't take this long and was told that it was mailed from **********. Obviously, something is wrong, but they would rather give me the run around instead of doing the right thing and issuing me a new check. I cannot pay my bills or do anything and no one seems to care. I don't know what else to do about this.

I had a direct deposit credit to my account on 1/1 for $162 I also had a ******* bank charge of $37 which there was more than enough money to cover but I was still charged a *** fee when I called the agent was not helpful after I explained the money was there *** sent a Zelle on 1/1 that would never have gone threw if there was no money in my account. The issue is the bank was closed & they did not update until 1/2 which is not my fault this fee is not valid the money was in my account they clearly put the direct deposit in I couldn't have. I spoke to a supervisor named Ladaricaa that didn't care regardless she didn't look into anything & made me repeat the same thing I told the agent I was also charged another $36 for peloton when I have overdraft turned off so if the money is not in my account its suppose to reject not pay out & charge me a fee. This has been frustrating ***'m to the point I want to just leave Regions I want the fees refunded asap.

I had a loan through *********, without issue. Enterbank was taken over by Regions and I stopped receiving statements re:payment. In November I got a call that they had not received my payment (which I had made through online banking as I had for the last year). I checked with my bank and they stated that a check had been sent and provided confirmation. I spoke with Regions again and they indicated maybe they were behind bc of the Thanksgiving holiday. I followed up again and it still was not received regardless of my bank having tracking information showing receipt. The check was not cashed so I made an electronic payment over the phone to Regions. They subsequently ***orted this to the credit bureau dropping our credit score significantly (it was excellent and is now just good). I contacted them last Friday to speak with a manager due to their ***orting since they were fully aware with my bank details and the payment had been made. I was told a manager would call me back within 3 business days. I paid off the balance of the loan. No return call was received. I called again today and was told no manager was available but would be shortly and would call me back today. No call received. I called back 3 hours later and was told I would receive a return call on Monday. The *** told me they werent sure they could provide me with my records of my call history or recorded calls, which I requested to make a complaint.

    Good evening:

Although the company told me that the error would be fixed with the credit bureau and apparently provided you with the same information and the account was paid off in full, they made ANOTHER negative report to our credit AFTER the account was paid off, dropping the credit score over 70 points again.

On December 17th 2024, several fraudulent charges were made on my Regions checking account totaling $164.06. I immediately locked my card when I noticed, and on the next business day I visited a local branch to report the fraud. I was told that I could not file a dispute until the charges were posted, and that I could do so by phone. During this time I was also hit with $72 of overdraft fees. I called as soon as the fraudulent charges posted, and reported. Regions responded with a letter I received today falsely claiming the charges were authorized, when they were not.Additionally, I have the phone number of the suspected fraudster. After I locked my card, they attempted to use it a few more times. I received an e-mail from Regions LockIt when they unsuccessfully attempted to use my card at a Domino's on December 18th near midnight. I immediately called the store and explained the situation to the manager, who told me the fraudster did not leave a name, but listed their number ************.

I had a fraudulent transaction in the amount of ****** and Regions will not allow customers to get provisional credit while investigating although its states on their website that its an option. I was told I have to wait up to 10 business days until its complete although other banks give credit back to their customers within 24 hours. I have been with Regions since 2009 and will be transferring my funds to another bank. The bank manager at the ********** ***** was very condescending.
