    After being charged for three boxes and never sent one, I changed my address on the main subscription page. NOWHERE ON THE PAGE that you update your address does it say updating it here doesn't apply to your boxes that haven't shipped. Nowhere on their main FAQ page does it say this. The Lone place it says this? The subscription FAQ page which isn't accessible easily whatsoever. It's assanine. I emailed about my box being sent to the outdated address. They refuse to make it right unless I pay even more money for supposedly a new label or they'll refund minus shipping for THEIR ERROR. I even emailed and said my address needed updating for other boxes as they hadn't mailed. "SORRY WE CANT, IT HASNT SHIPPED YET BUT IT WILL SOON SO TOO BAD SO SAD." It's pretty fortunate for me that I have a contract lawyer for a husband, who has read their TOS and has seen they are in breach of contract. I request a FULL REFUND, for all 3 of the boxes I paid for and never received, before moving forward with legal avenues to get my funds back.

    I have been sent poor quality and damaged books. REPEATEDLY There are multiple issues with the books that they provide to their consumer. Even after making them wait MANY additional months for the items.I waited almost a year for ******** Boys, only to have to return them twice. Still receive damaged books, and be told i no longer can return or receive a refund.Zodiac Academy set 2 also damaged. Salt Kiss damaged three times. Curse of Oaths and Truth spine broken. The Spanish Love Deception damaged.Continuous quality issues. I just want refunds to be done with this company.

    At the end of February 2024, I changed my Darkly subscription with The Bookish Box Shop to book only. On their website it shows that I could select any of the various memberships. After two weeks, I went back into my account to change my subscription back to Darkly with goodies. I no longer saw the option to select any of the memberships. I immediately emailed their customer service at ********************************* ****************** Informed me that the company had a policy that I could move down my membership but not up to include the goodies in my box. I would have to join the end of the waitlist that includes thousands of people despite. I told her I was not aware of this policy and it had never been communicated to me. I also asked if ******* could send me a copy of the policy. She told me it was "not necessarily a policy" and couldn't provide a copy. I then asked if an exception could be made since I've spent over a thousand dollars buying products from The Bookish Box and I've been a loyal customer. I would like my Darkly with goodies membership reinstated.

    I placed an order with them on November 14th, with the notice on their site stating a 6 week processing time which I was fine with. One the 6 week **** I emailed them because I hadnt had an update on the order and received a response a week later stating due to the influx of orders placed between Black Friday and Christmas we are backed up and our processing time is taking a bit longer than usual! If you do not see any information regarding this order by the 15th please reach back out to me directly and I can figure out what the issue is I emailed them back and let them know my order was placed for that time to which I got this response Our fulfillment center has let us know that our processing time has been increased to about 8 weeks which I replied my 8 week **** would have been the day I received this response. My issue is that they are not doing anything to try and resolve the issue just making excuses as to why they havent fulfilled an order. (As a side note after placing my order I have seen this same issue coming up from other customers as well)

    I ordered a subscription box in **** this year for $60+ and have yet to receive it. According to their shipping updates page, all boxes have been shipped out and the tracking provided has not moved at all since 11/06. I have requested multiple updates and they keep telling me to wait and check back in. I have finally requested a refund as I would rather be done with this.

    I have paid them $189 for 4 orders beginning in June. None of the orders have been fulfilled nor have they provided me with any updates or information regarding the orders.This is not acceptable and a breach of their agreement with me. I want a complete refund of all charges and confirmation of the cancellation of my subscription.     Like many others filing here, I signed up for a subscription in April and have yet to receive one box despite being charged each month since for a box. I have emailed and checked their shipping updates but they keep pushing their dates out each month. I have tried reaching out to them on ********* too, very politely but they have been deleting my comments and those of others with similar concerns.

    I started my subscription with the Bookish Box March 1, 2023 when I placed my first auto-renew order for the fantasy book box. I was charged $62 dollars March 1,2023, March 20, 2023, and April 20, 2023. I allowed it to auto-renew 3xs when I realized after my first month came and went with no box. I immediately logged in and cancelled my subscription and reached out to the company. I was assured that my order would ship and that they were changing their shipping companies to keep up with the demand. They also have a shipping updates page for subscribers to keep track of when their boxes would ship. I continued to check back with their dates always changing to the monthly to make it seem that there was progress but, in all actuality, they were moving the fulfillment/shipping out another month. I had sent another email to make sure I did not get scammed and was reassured by an employee that I would receive my box. I have emailed them again today stating my concerns and frustrations, they have a strict no refund policy. But from perspective how can you refund me for something I never received. I have now started researching reviews and it appears I am not alone in this frustrating cycle of waiting and some customers have spend more than I have. They make it to where they close orders for month after they have sold their quota, how can they continue to open new orders if they cannot fill the orders they already have. This is a concern of them trying to bail out of a very bad financial situation they have put themselves in.

    Email to the company:Hello, this is my 3rd email to this horrible support team. I have paid for 3 boxes and have yet to receive anything. I have been told to wait, to CHECK YOUR page for update , to skip a month (Id be skipping FOREVER if Im waiting on my first box) or to cancel if Id like. Well i officially WISH TO CANCEL IMMEDIATELY and receive a FULL REFUND FROM THIS SCAMMING SERVICE!!!!! I sincerely wish i would have checked your reviews before spending a cent here. Not to mention i PAY EXTRA TO SUPPORT FROM ANOTHER COUNTRY! Whats worse YOU STILL HAVE NOT SENT OUT BOXES FROM DECEMBER!!! I will not wait until THIS December while you spend MY MONEY to fund your next scam. Refund me IMMEDIATELY or i will be contacting my bank and marking this as FRAUD PRODUCT NOT RECEIVED and will be contacting the better business bureau to see who i can get this scam banned here. Ive attached a copy of my previous payment history and YOUR INSTAGRAM COMMENT SECTION. Please advise asap. I will be contacting my bank this Friday if i have no resolution. Please advise
