    I was billed for a monthly book box on Sept 2022, Oct. 2022, and Nov. 2022. I have not received any of the 3 shipments. I have received no product whatsoever. I have been billed a total of $187. I have emailed the company without response.

    A few months ago, the Bookish Box announced a box for $215 themed after an author's books that contained 11 "high quality" items. People began receiving these boxes earlier this month and very quickly came to realize that the items are in fact plagiarized from others. There is a ring in this box that has been found on a small artist page on social media and there are video posts from 2021 proving that she designed this ring and began selling it long before this box was announced (2022). Additionally, they claim that this ring was their own design. When I contacted them about this they indicated that this happened due to "miscommunication" and that they would never steal a design. However, a second design from this box was found online on AliExpress for the crown. They also claim that they designed this and the value is somewhere around $30, but the crown sells on Aliexpress for $10. Further there is online proof that the crown has been on Aliexpress since 2017, I believe. Again-- also far before this box was even announced. Unfortunately, they will not allow me to return this box even though I want no part in plagiarism and fraud that this business takes part in.

    I purchased a Preorder Box set of books Stalking **** the Ripper on November 11 2021 for $150 . We were promised ro have the books Delivered tous by March/ April 2022. They kept on moving the dates few weeks at a time. It has been 8 months now and the books are still not shipping. I emailed customer serivce to cancel the transaction and get my money back. It took 3 days for then to get back. I was told the order is cancelled and I will vet my money back in 3-5 business days. 3 days passed and I called PayPal ( I used PayPal as method of payment) to check on the pending transaction ( refund) . PayPal said they do not see any refund processing in their system at all. I emailed Bookish box customer service again for the same and I was told it was a mistake on their part as *** processed the order to bank account without realizing that payment ethid was paypal. She confirmed my email address for PayPal again. I replied immediately and she replied that I have been put on the *** list so her *** could process my refund immediately and it would be refunded shortly. I did not hear anything about the refund that whole day, the next day I followed up again , I was told the same and still no refund the whole day. I have emailed them again now. My account page on the bookish box website showes order cancelled but the the order does not show Refund Processed. How do you cancel an order without processing a refund. This is the most pathetic company I have ever dealt with. They have no phone number to reach customer service at, they take their own sweet time to reply to emails. I am struggling to vet my $150 that I paid 8 months back, with the hope that the order would be delivered on tiem. First of all the order is delayed my months. Then I deal with emailing them back and forth to get my money back. Now they cancel my order and dont even process the refund. This is ridiculous.
