    On 03/17/2022 we paid get a tax lawer 10,500.00 dollars hoping to get our 2019 taxes owed taken care of, we owed around 11000.00 on these from 2019. and get a tax lawer did our 2021 tax returns. it ended up they couldnt get the amount reduced at all and now a year later we now owe penalties on top of this, i was called and told i could do a payment plan or go to irs .gov website and just pay the taxes owed, {at this point after numerous times trying to reach management with meetings they scheduled and phone calls that never happened,we didnt trust them to do anymore, so i paid the irs what i owed them recently, and ended up paying get a tax lawer 10,500.00 dollars to do my 2021 taxes, ive emailed *** ******* ************************ and her boss ******* ****** ************************ several times , ive returned phone call after phone call to never get through, ive asked them to please resolve this by email to see what they are willing to do on this problem. im very disappointed in how weve been treated during this whole process, its been the most unprofessional company ive ever dealt with. ive simply asked by email numerous times for a itemized list of where the money had gone to, and if there is a resolution we can come to. im so tired of emailing them , ive given up on calling , it seems like its funny to them , so if they can email me in communication on this my email is evergr1600@gmail.com the resolution and itemized list for the 10500.00 dollars, i would greatly appreciate it. im very disappointed in them, thank you

    I have called ******* Time after time , he says he’ll call at a certain time and it doesn’t happen, I always get voicemail I can never get ahold of them, I would like to resolve by email, since it’s impossible to get to speak to them , and I’ve spent hours returning calls and emailing, please respond by email and through the  Bbb.     I will never be able to ahold of ******* . I’ve been dealing with this and wasted hour upon hours trying to contact them by phone. We can email on this instead of by phone. ( this is what they do)

    My husband and I both own separate businesses and our taxes are complicated, to say the least. This company was recommended by a radio show that we trust and our initial conversation was very positive - so we decided to go with them. We paid an $800 initial fee and sent them a 342-page document with everything they requested, i.e. ****s, statements, financial reports, etc. Oddly, different people kept reaching out to me to ask for the information I had already sent, but we signed the power of attorney forms that they requested anyway. Within a week, I got a call from a "tax preparer" stating that I, alone, owed nearly double what my husband and I had paid last year - as they convinced us that "married - filing separately" would save us more money, but then he said that filing jointly would be better. I was shocked, as I had only made about $10k more than the previous year, meaning that once they had done my husband's taxes it would be significantly more. This rattled us and in combination with the change in strategies, we decided to just go back to filing ourselves. When I emailed our account ***** ******************** to let him know we were going to go a different route, he responded with the most unprofessional email I have ever received in my 30 years as a business owner, and strangely asking for documents he already had and not addressing my initial concern at all. I immediately responded with a written revocation of our ***** of ********* stating that we had lost confidence in the organization and that we'd be following up with a written notarized revocation via certified mail. I also requested a refund. Hindsight 20/20, I started to look at reviews and found dozens of people with similar stories, many much worse. Their website is suspiciously void of any helpful contact information and I am very concerned that this organization is nothing but a scam. The unprofessional, unethical, and unorganized business practices of this company, we think others should be careful.

    When this company does something for you, after you submit payment they insist you send them ALL of your financial records, right down to the title to your car. They do some nominal thing for your initial payment, not the thing you asked for or that they promised, and they use your financial records to sniff out whether you are good for more money. Then they call and solicit more money from you. That is my issue. The first thing they did, for the first payment, was worthless to me, but for the SECOND PAYMENT they have done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Eight months, nothing, and when I try to get a refund of the second payment, they will not return calls or emails. Scammers. Bottom feeders, smiling cheaters.

     Hello, 

    My complaint number 19860873, which I filed on March 27, has been closed on the word of the company I complained about.  There was no opportunity for me to rebut the company's response before it was closed.  My complaint was that the company solicited from me a second payment of ******** for a specific effort I requested in a 3-way phone call between myself, ******************* and the company owner **************************  From the time of that payment, July of 2022, until now, nothing more was ever done for me.  To be specific, I am not requesting a refund of the initial ******** I paid to the company, though they didn't do what they promised in return for that payment.  I want a refund of the second payment, ********, for which they have done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

    On April 4 *************************** called me to say he would issue the refund that day, and verified that the card I'd used to pay it was still a valid card.  I confirmed it is still a valid active card.

    That refund has never been issued, yet apparently ****** reported to BBB that the situation was resolved.

    I hold the same opinion of this scammy company as before, and I still seek the refund of ******** I am due and have been promised by a representative of this company.  If they fail to do this I want nothing more than a deserved strike against them with the Better Business Bureau.

    Please advise what else you require from me in order to proceed.

    I am patient, and I realize refund red tape can take time, so I am replying only to avoid having the case closed again due to lack of response.

    The last communication from the company states "She should receive an email by 5pm PST tomorrow (4/25) from our merchant services system with a refund ID."

    It is now April 27 and I have not received that refund ID, nor any communication from the company.

All I want is an update. I know things take time but after 20 voicemails and trying to contact them for the last 3months Im convinced this place is some kind of sophisticated scam.     These people are a scam!!! We paid them over $10,000 since August of 2022. It is now March 2023. They have not settled any claim for us. Everytime we call they make up another excuse as to why nothing got done. They keep asking for different documents. Every month they make up a new document that is missing. I have been trying to contact them for weeks and nobody answers the phone. Nobody has answered any of our E-mails.

    We have requested information from this client on multiple occasions that is required to move their case forward and have not received it. Despite that fact, we spent extensive time and resources escalating her concerns with the state tax department related to a garnishment that was not issued by that agency. As we have never received ALL of the required documentation at one time, we have had to request updated financial information as information on file becomes stale.

    This client needs to provide us with updated financial information that is current (within the last 30 days) for all items requested and a copy of the garnishment notice received by the bank in order for us to continue work on their file.

    THEY DO NOT ANSWER THE ***** OR EMAIL. I KEEP CALLING AND CALLING. THEY ONLY CALLED ME BACK WHEN THEY SAW MY BBB COMPLAINT AND GAVE ME ANOTJER WXCUSE AS TO WHY THEY DODNT GET ANYTHING ON MY CASE DONE YET AND TNEN I TRIED TO CALL THEM BACK BECUASE WE GOT DISCONNECYED AND I HAVENT HEARD BACK FROM THEM SINCE. THEY TOLD ME THEY HAVE ALL MY PAPERWORK MONTHS AGO. AGAIN. THEY DO NOT RESPOND.

    8/2022 I contacted GATL.com. They were very helpful and friendly UNTIL They got my $7000 No return calls or emails. **************** claims to email their supervisor every time I call, no response. I have notified the District Attorney about this company and their practices. Now Im waiting for a legal remedy. AVOID this company and the guy on tv pushing his ever-revolving company fronts!

    I first heard a radio advertisement for GATL and, based on that ad, decided to contact them. Upon my initial call placed at the end of May 2022 I was directed to *******************. I told him I wanted another opinion on tax returns because I wasn't sure they had been properly filed and there might be a potential refund. He was pleasant and described the company and their services. At the end of the conversation I paid him $3,000 as a retainer to review my 2021 return prior to filing. I emailed him my 2021 return that had been prepared by my CPA. At that time he told me someone would be in touch with me shortly. No one called for a long time and, after several phone calls, I reached ***** again in August. He said the case manager assigned to my case had quit and he was unaware that he left. ***** apologized and said he would get me directly to their head tax guy, ***********************, who would review my return promptly. As it turned out ***** called me, we discussed my case and he told me he would review my return right away. He called the next week and said he thought the return was improperly prepared and I probably would not owe any taxes (about $25,000). Needless to say I was encouraged and agreed to pay an additional $800 to review my 2019 and 2020 returns which I sent copies to him. A few days later *********************** called me to report my 2019 return was improperly prepared but the 2020 was correct and he would send a draft of my 2021 return for my review. He said we would deal with the 2019 return later with an amended return. That's the last I've heard from ****** or ****. I have two case managers that I've talked to but neither of them return calls now. After reading several other complaints it appears taking money and doing nothing is not uncommon for GATL. I'm going to request a full refund as nothing has been done and no one will talk to me. I highly recommend not doing business with them.

    On 4/5/2021 I contacted this service thinking they were ligimate law firm . They sent me documents to fill out & also requesting partial payment for half immediately and the other half for ****************************************************************************** with my case . However as time went by I hear close to nothing from them . And now I cant get ahold of anyone.. Some of the telephone numbers have also been disconnected. The last information they requested was my bank statements from me. . Prior to them receiving them , these documents were mailed back to me , in a different envelope, as to being reviewed.By what I could see.I have called their numbers several times and never reach anyone or hear back from anyone after leaving several messages.

    Get a tax lawyer has failed to file my amended return for ****************** showing proof work was done. Every time I call, ** told My case worker will call me within 1-2 days. My request for case updates have been ongoing for at least three months now. *** asked for case status repeatedly by phone and email. I never received an email response. When I call, ** told my case worker will call me later and they never do.
