On December 19, 2024, BBB sent correspondence to Hike Footwear requesting their voluntary cooperation in providing steps it will implement to eliminate the pattern of customer complaints.  As of January 16, 2025, BBB has received no response from the company.

    Two pair of shoes purchased in October for Lorax Summer and Lorax Pro. They arrived to my overseas military location on November 19. After picking them up and trying a pair on, there were multiple issues with the shoes. I immediately repackaged them. I sent an email to the company on November 21 inquiring on the process to start a return per their company policy. The first email received from *****, gave me option to exchange the shoes for different size or variant, or get 30% refund and keep the shoes as part of their Hike Green Initiative. I replied on November 22 stating that I did not want to keep them due to the listed reasons and again asked how to do full return. I received another email saying theyd give 50% refund and I could still keep the shoes. So in a third email I again reiterated I wanted a full refund and return the shoes per their company policy and expressed displeasure on how difficult it is to just do a simple return. Based on the number of complaints that have been posted on BBB and other sites about the company, this seems to be a common and recurring theme of trying to avoid giving full refunds for products being returned.

    Company has finally submitted a return form to me with instructions on returning the order for a full refund.

    Their website and ******** advertisements state, "Try our product for 30 days without risk." and "Easy returns." This is all a lie! ??I bought a pair to try out The soles are thin, which, I suppose is to be expected for a "barefoot" shoe. There is no structure to the sides and top of the shoe at all. This feature makes them super stretchy, (great for larger feet) but that made them to big for me... so I wanted to return them. Here is exactly what I was told, (copy/pasted from my email):? Below are the options available to rectify the situation: ??1. Partial Refund: Receive a 30% refund and retain the product. This option is part of Hike's Green Return initiative, allowing you to keep the product while still receiving compensation. (On a $60 pair of shoes, that means I'd get $18 back and I can keep shoes that don't work for me. Ummm.... didn't they say "risk free??")?? 2. Size or Variant Exchange: If you request an exchange within 30 days of receiving your order, weve got you covered! We strongly advise against returns to minimize environmental impact and reduce waste, as returned footwear often cannot be resold, (huh? no one else has this policy! Other shoe companies state that they have to be in as new condition!) contributing to unnecessary pollution and unsaleable inventory. The exchange will be processed immediately."?The kicker:?"Please know that this is a one-time free replacement only." This policy is NOT an "Easy Return" policy, nor is it "without risk!" Losing $40 is definitely a risk!Their ads are all over ********. Shoes were received 11/4/2024. I paid $70. I have emailed them three times and I get one response, shown above. After the first response, they do not reply again. They promise easy returns, but they do not keep their word. I made a complaint on Trustpilot and they replied with a phone number so I called the number and I was on hold for over 45 minutes before I finally hung up.

    I made a purchase with Hike Footwear on Aug. ******* for 3 items, 2 pr. shoes and 1 inserts. I made an error, called them with about 10 mins after. Was told it was too late to stop the order, wait until i received the order, and then work on returning the items. At first i was told there was only 2 items on the order, then a few days later, they suddenly discovered that there was 3 items. Since then it has been back and forth. They said i needed to take the items to ***, tell them which office, take a photo of the return label, make sure the *** and Tracking number were there and then call them to let them know this information, confirm with a customer service person, which i have done all of these, was told refund would be done shortly. I waited, then after 1 1/2 to 2 weeks, nothing was returned, so i texted ' ***** ". She said ' thankyou for reminding me'. Then she kept asking me to remind her of the tracking number, and all info i could give her to ' locate ' my package, which i did, twice!. Since then she has been ignoring me or saying, ' thankyou , she needed to discuss my being given my refund or not. These people are something else i tell you. I asked her if Hike Footwear treats all the customers like that and that ********************** hopes the customer will just ' go away "?. No answer.

    I ordered two items - shoes and insoles - from this company. The website promises 100% satisfaction with the order and that returns are allowed. The shoes and insoles do NOT fit and are ridiculously large. I sent an email with my information and requested a full return. The company responded that I can have 30% of my money back. This is not ok.

    I ordered shoes from Hike Footwear - delivered 10/19 I tried these shoes on at home once - and decided to return them. I contacted the company 10/28. I received a response asking me why a number of days later - I responded immediately with sound reasons for not wanting these shoes - I never got a follow up with address and additional information. I've written the company three times since - I've tried calling - one time waiting 20 minutes. I am totally dissatisfied with their customer service let alone wanting to return and obtain a refund.

    I made an order on October 06th 2024, through Hike Footwear webpage where clearly mentioned the following: Despite the high demand, your order should usually arrive within 8-14 working days after we have received your payment. Which obviously is a completely lie, after the promised period of time transited we did not receive the product until October 25th. Previously contacted customer services informing that we don't need the product anymore since we were planning a trip where we supposedly will use the product but since never arrived, we no longer needed. ******** services in a very rude way informed that we need to wait until the product arrives and only then we will be able to returned, after we received the product which was damage and with sizes all wrong in a damage package, we contact customer services again to request them return label for the product, however they were refusing to provide that information, instead they offered us "discounts" if we keep the product. We explained ***** from customer services that the product wasn't correct so we don't need it, she refuses again and mentioned that we should donate it. After multiple back and forth emails, she provided with the return information however they wanted to charge us for the postage costs although on their return policies clearly mentioning that if the package or product is damage or wrongly sized, they will take car of the postage costs. Additionally we paid 3 extra dollars for insurance in case of any issue, **** again it is completely false. Unfortunately they don't want be responsible for what they are offering cheating the customers with false information. I am hooping on BBB to help me to intercede and also request this company don't cheat more people

    I ordered a pair of shoes from this company and I never received them. They were ordered August 30th and here it is October 31st and still got nothing I called two weeks ago and I was told they would ship them out to me and I have gotten nothing.

    I purchased 2 pairs of shoes in 2 sizes. One was too small and the other too large. There is no in between size. Notified the company, was offered 30% refund and keep shoes. Disputed that quoting there stated return policy. I asked for a return label stating I understood it was my responsibility to pay. I'm OK, but they refuse to send a label for return and are offering only a 50% refund. There are numerous complaints to this effect. I want my money back, The shoes and entire package is all the original packing materials. This company on many occasions has shown poor customer service and plain refusal to follow their own stated return policy.

    I purchased 2 shoes from Hike footwear. I responded according to their return policy via email on Sep 11 2024 within the 30 day money back guarantee. I received a response back on Sep 13 that they would like me to first share a more detailed response on why I want to return the shoes. I responded the same day indicating the shoes were not comfortable. No response until I again sent another email on October 6th. They gave me 2 options of either receiving 30% refund or a size exchange. And they discourage against returns because its hard for resale and to reduce pollution. I cannot get a hold of this company after I sent another email on oct 13th. I originally responded for the 30% refund option but Im so frustrated with their lack of response that I just would like them to honor their return policy which is listed on their website and get a full refund for both shoes. I'm requesting your assistance and holding them accountable for their own policy.

    On June ******* I bought in th internet a pair of shoes from ***********************, doing business as Hike-Footwear after a two months the snickers arrive and they were not my size so immediately sent an email to Hike-Footwear and told them that (in their publicity they warranty returns) and they said that no need to send the shoes back that they will send a replacement. After two months more I send an email asking for my shoes and they said that they have to investigate and after several days they send me an email saying to contact a company (****************** to 0************) and they always put me on hold for hours and never answer. So I email Hike-Footwear again via email and I said I want my money back and they refuse. this company is not honorable and is doing fraud.
