On December 19, 2024, BBB sent correspondence to Hike Footwear requesting their voluntary cooperation in providing steps it will implement to eliminate the pattern of customer complaints.  As of January 16, 2025, BBB has received no response from the company.

    On 5-21-24, I ordered some shoes from Hike. On 6-9-24, my husband sent an email to customer service of ********************** explaining that due to my disability from a stroke, I was not able to keep the shoes on my right foot. We have tried to tighten the shoe strings but the shoes keep stretching out. I told them that I am disappointed the shoes aren't working and want to return them. I only wore them in the house for less than a day.They responded that they would offer a free replacement but that will not work as all the footwear is the same, with different prices. Told them to compromise, I gave them a different size/model but the cost was $20 more and told them I would pay the difference. Sent an email to them that if they didn't respond to our compromise, or refund the original **** we were going to make a complaint with the BBB and write a scathing evaluation of their service.We can't upload the original emails as we are both in our early 70's and don't know how to do the upload.

    DID NOT HONOR RETURN POLICY. First I don't expect you to resolve my refund. I want people to know how dishonest Hike Footwear is. Date: 5-18-2024, Amount paid was $59..95 for a dismal pair of shoes that didn't satisfy what they claimed on their website. The big problem was that they did not honor their return policy that promised a full refund as stated on their website. They would not cover the cost to return them. See It below.Instead after 9 emails (enclosed), they demanded that it be returned to an address in *****, even though the shoes were shipped from an address in *************, **. They put me through a lot of time and work to keep asking for the refund. After reading many reviews on several websites that they were a scam company, I thought I would be fortunate to receive 50% instead of the full return as promised on their website below. It seemed that many people received nothing, sometimes for multiple pairs. Their return policy below."Return policy:If you decide to return the products to us within 30 days, remember that we will refund the entire order within 5 days of receiving the product. However, we cannot refund the cost of returning the product.This is how the process works for all products:1. Send us an email to ************************************ and let us know that you wish to return the order or parts of it to us.2. Ask our customer service if we can accept the return. You can also provide a return address (note: it's not the address) on our website.3. If we can accept the return (within the accepted timeframe), follow the instructions below. Pack the returned product safely and securely in the original packaging.4. Send the package to the return address you have received from our customer service.5. Send the ************* code to our customer service.6. Once your package is received and inspected within 3 days of receipt, we will refund the returned products using the payment method you paid for the products."Don't do business with them.

    I have ordered a pair of shoes and as of yet nothing has been received. Order was placed on June 18th and nothing further. I emailed and the response was, we are out of stock. Checked the website and was showing in stock. Then received an email stating that I missed their email about the matter. Checked the spam folder and there was nothing. Now have been on hold for 25 mins and still not a live person. They must not be aware how stubborn I can be.

    Ordered my Hike shoes on May 27, 2024 for $53.95 via a credit card. After wearing them indoors off & on for a few needed to return, they offered poor foot support. Tried calling ************ several times with 10 to 14 callers before me. Emailed ************************************ several times for a RMA and address for a return. **** responded with offers to buy other shoes once apologized for the inconvenience but never sent my requests as stated above. Maybe they are ignoring me so they could say, ''No returns after 30 days." My requests were well within the 30 day return policy. After reading reviews they should no longer be in business. I hope can help me. Thank You.

    Took a 50% reduction because the shoes were too expensive to return to ******  Shoes donated.

    On June 31st I purchased a pair of Hike Footwear shoes online for work. With a 30 day money back guarantee. They took around two weeks to arrive. wore them once they didnt fit so I tried to reach out to return them. No response from the email. And no one answers the phone. I made several attempts to try and return these shoes but theres no one to contact. They say email them I did. I got a reply that said thanks for stopping by.

    I placed 3 orders with this company the first arrived and after only 5 wears a hole in the mesh area - I contacted them asking about a replacement pair they said they offer no type of warranty.Before I knew about the no warranty policy I thought perhaps I the ones I ordered were too small so I placed a 2nd ordered for a larger size. They dont fit right and are very uncomfortable and offer no support.I contacted them again they said it was past the 30 days so they would not accept the unworn / just tried on pair.Then I tried to stop the 3 order they said it was too late but could be returned for a refund once received. They say they offer ?? satisfaction guarantee on the website so I felt confident about at the very least getting the full refund for what I paid. Now they are saying Ill only get 30% refund?If I return the order why cant I get my full refund back? They will resell at the full cost?

    ? ?I purchased Hike Footwear Lorax Pro - Healthy & non-slip barefoot shoes (Unisex)1 White / US Women 8/8.5 on May 19,2024. ORDER #****** /YunExpress tracking number: YT2414121272330635 I finally received them on 6/1/24 trying them on 6/3/24 for the first time.These shoes are nothing more than water shoes. Emailing them on 6/3/24 that I needed to return them because they do not have the support for my arch and they are too big. Still no reply from them. Still calling and being transferred to their automated music and no one ever answering but being put on hold listening to their music. I received a "Feed back Survey" on 6/14/24 that I completed and still no response from them. ? Hike Footwear Customer Review Form was completed on 6/18/24 stating the following:"'Can you please tell us the specific concern / feature on why you were not satisfied with the shoe(e.g. design, sizing, overall feel, shipping times, etc.)? *'To begin with, it took a while to get these shoes and when I finally received themwhat a disappointment they were!!! These shoes do not have any support. I didnt know that they were water shoes, therefore I could have bought them at ******* for less than $10.00. Im very disappointed in the false advertisement. There is no way that a nurse could wear these shoes for the support to stand and work in all day. Several times I tried contacting the customer service department and stayed on the phone for a long while until I had to go, because no one would answer. I also emailed and did not receive a response. I would like a full refund. If this can not be resolved, I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau! Still nothing from them!'" I tried contacting them again and still have not heard back from them.? ?

    I sent the following email to Hike customer service: I do not like your product and want to return it for a full refund. Order number is ****** and price was $107.91. Please send instructions and shipping materials so I can send you back your merchandise. They responded with offering me an exchange on one pair of the shoes. I responded with the following: I am not interested in a replacement. I EXPECT a FULL refund. Please respond with return instructions and send return shipping material immediately. They then responded with offering me an exchange again. This was my response: I have made it clear I want a fully refund and have asked that return shipping materials be sent to me immediately. When I placed the order I contacted your customer service because I wasnt getting the advertised buy one get one free deal and was told by the representative that I should pay full price because I was a first time customer and may want to return the merchandise and could only do that if I paid full price. She assured me it wouldnt be a problem. I ordered 2 pairs of shoes. I wore 1 pair inside the house, once. I hate them. And frankly, I have hated dealing with your company and regret making the purchase in the first place. Clearly you do not have honest customer service. I demand a full refund! If you do not release a full refund back to my account within 7 days I am going to contact the Better Business Bureau to file a report. They then said Id have to mail the merchandise back to them - in ***** - at my own expense! This was my response: This was NOT what your representative said when I was pushed into the purchase. If you do not send me the return shipping materials - as promised on the recorded customer service call and process my full refund back to the original form of payment, I will take action against you for false advertising among other fraudulent sales tactics.

    Trying to return defective shoe the day after I received the shoes because the left food shoe falls off when walking! Everytime I call the recording says you are call #**! Nobody is going to wait for that. I've emailed them with no response on getting a replacement show and/or now a refund. Also Amazon is now selling this same shoe for $19.99. What a scam. I want my money back and I'd be glad to send these shoes back if they pay for postage. Thank you Order #******
