I noticed a recurring charge on one of my accounts that I did not recognize. After looking into the origin of the charge, it appears to be some sort of credit management or credit checking tool. I am not familiar with it, nor would I pay (nor do I even have the money to pay) for credit repair services, especially one that appears so vague. Furthermore, after more research, it appears I am not alone in this issue. This company has charged several others without proper consent, and I would like to have my money refunded to me as well as erasing any of my data that this company may have. I have attempted to call and resolve the issue with the company themselves, but have not received any correspondence back. January 16, 2025 -- I recall signing up with CompareHub by LoansCanada. During the sign up a pop up appeared and mentioned along the lines of "sign up for one-time processing fee" receive something about finance and verifying your accounts to make it easier. I thought a one-time charge for $1 dollar wouldn't be too bad, then the charge was verified for 1$ by "**************************** *******" (weird name I thought but okay).Later, On January 23, 2025 -- there was a charge for $34.95 by "**************************** ******* West Hollywoo Ca" --- this time the name was different and it was definitely unauthorized as soon as I became aware of it. I reached out to my bank immediately and the best resolution would be to reach out to the merchant first & change cards. I found it a difficult process because I didn't know who are what I was being charged for. I thought that if this was a subscription I need my money back and to cancel it. Also, I planned to change my card so it wouldn't happen. Today is February 23, 2025 and I've been charged again by "**************************** ************************"After research, I found it all to be affiliated with this company & have detailed information that seems confusing but I think its to confuse the customer.I honestly don't care to contact these people directly except to expose a little bit of what's going on if I don't get all my money back please. Its all affiliated and would like a full refund for the unauthorized transactions of $69.90 ASAP. Thank YouBusiness response

This company charged me $39.95 on January 15th and February 15th for a subscription I never signed up for through a loan website! Upon plenty of research, this company is made up of plenty of scam artists stealing money. I was told they never took several payments from me and they could only refund half of the second payment, that is not good enough for me.Business response

On 1/10/25 I applied for a car loan. The site required my debit card for what was advertised as a $1 fee for a credit check. As soon as I received the confirmation email of being charged $39.95 per month, I immediately went to their site to cancel, but of course, the login information they provided in the initial email does not work, I assume, so people cannot cancel. I then replied to the email to cancel the subscription, and they then stated that due to the nature of the subscription, I would need to call in for someone to try and sell me on why I needed it. After seven days, they tried charging my card, but ***** had already flagged it as fraudulent; my guess is by the number of complaints from this company. They have since tried charging my card several times, all being declined for fraud. This account needs to be canceled.Business response

I am rejecting this response because: The website does not allow consumers to cancel subscription requests. Instead consumers are required to call a number. Only after multiple attempts to call customer support someone picked up. When the customer support agent picked up they tried to upsell me and keep the subscription. My understanding is that there are regulations where consumers need be be allowed to cancel a subscription whenever they want without any obstacles.The business model of this company goes against such regulations.

First of all the response was very snarky. I honestly wasn't looking at my bank statement. I started to recently that's how I noticed. The bank can only repay the last 90 days I never signed up for this company. I want the last 9 months refunded. I tried finding inflation about the company finally found a phone number but no one answers or calls back. I want my money back as taking it was fraud. I never agreed to this service

I do not believe a company should tell me what I should be able to do in my own life especially when they were stealing money, i will take legal action if i am not fully reimbursed just for the principal alone. In the last 9 months I have gone through a high conflict divorce dealt with multiple illnesses personally and with my son, mother and father while being a care taker and working so you will forgive me for not noticing this scam. In general, we are able to refund a few recent months of subscription fees, which you have already received via chargebacks.
