Ive reached out to the company and spoke with the supervisor ****** multiple times via email and phone and , no one seems to have a resolution for the damages to my vehicle.Business response

Please be advised that Alpine Towing was requested to tow this vehicle by the "ON-CALL PARKING" Company. When the Alpine driver arrived at the scene he determined that towing this vehicle would cause further damage to the vehicle. He refused to move the vehicle and made noted on the tow request. See highlighted copy. In addition, On-Call Parking provided copies of the vehicle prior to towing. Please note the existing damages on the vehicle which the Complainant is claiming that Alpine Towing did. She provided similar phots claiming that Alpine Towing did the damages.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: your response was completely false. On January 11 2025, was the very first day Alpine came to town my vehicle. Attached is the picture of my car (WITH THE DAY 1/11 on the picture) my car was completely fine, they attempted to tow for backing in parking. The driver attempted to tow my vehicle and damaged it in the process, and left it there. On January 14 they came back to attempt another tow but didn't succeed again, and instead ticketed me for a flat tire/inoperable vehicle. Ive attached an actual picture of how my car looked on 1/11 before the attempted tow and on 1/14 after!
Sincerely,

On December 20, 2024, **** from Alpine Towing attempted to tow a guests car who had permission from the owner of the residence he was visiting to park in their drive way. **** refused to release the visitors car and asked for $170 to be ***** to him to release the car that was parked at the residence with the owners permission. **** on behalf of Alpine Towing displayed unethical behavior and racism towards the resident and their guest. **** proceeded to call 911 and place a false report to 911, then fled the scene upon police arrival since he had already received $170 he scammed out of an innocent victim. This company and its employees displayed unethical practice and was only looking to prey on unexpecting guest for a quick pay day. I recommend a thorough investigation into their business practice. I will continue to report them here and social media to bring awareness to their unethical business practices to scam people into paying them money.Initial Complaint

The problem that occurred during my recent visit to the Rolling Loud concert in **************Upon arriving at the concert venue, I chose to park in a nearby lot where I noticed several tow trucks from Alpine Towing stationed so I walked up to one of the trucks and asked if thats actual parking and he Alejondro told me yes and walked me to 2 individuals wearing vests who informed me they were charging $30 for parking. Initially, they requested payment via *****. However, when I attempted to process the payment on my phone, they informed me that payment was cash only and that was suspicious to me from the start. I then ended up walking to the **************** ATM to withdraw cash, after which I returned to pay the attendant. For my records, I made a video of the transaction where I handed over the cash. Upon returning to my vehicle after the concert I saw that my car had been towed and is currently located at Alpine Towing's lot where there was a line of 50 people and half of the got scammed from the fake lot. Moreover, the representative from Alpine Towing who directed me to park in that area is named *********. I have documented evidence of both the payment and the interaction with the guys running the parking scam.I hope this can help fix this problem for the future because I am not the only one this has happened too, as I believe myself and others were misled regarding the legitimacy of the parking service.Business response

Later on 12/13/24 I had an appointment to come in and release the car and they refused to let it go after hours. Following day 12/14/24 I come in and have a notarized letter from the original cars owner to release the vehicle under my power. The company did not release the vehicle because of an invalid notary. **** forced my hand and had me go to a tag agency and pay an additional $148 to get a title same day.Business response

On November 23, 2024 my girlfriends car ***** Bronco 2021) was towed from in front of my door located at *************************. When we noticed the car was gone I contacted Alpine towing at approximately 8:35 pm, and confirmed the car had been towed by them at 5:00 a.m. illegally. The staff I spoke with stated that the tow yard was closed and we need to go the next day November 24th, 2024 to retrieve the car. We was mislead by staff that stated they was closed so 24 hours could go by to then charge us extra money. When on the property we were threatened that if we didnt pay the price would go up more within the next hour of us arriving on their property.Initial Complaint

On Aug 20, 2024 went to the location: *************************************************************************** to pick up my vehicle. I arrived at the location called to make sure they were open and hours of operations. Went inside and started the process to get my vehicle. I text the person behind the counter my insurance card and hand him my license. Went outside to get cash and the employee walks out and starts his car. At the same time the tow truck pulls up. So I assume one is leaving and the other is starting their shift. I attempt to go back in the office door is now locked and the original person as pulled off and the truck driver advises he just drops off vehicles and can't assist. I called the ********** number of the guy I just was speaking to inside. And of course no answer. I called the number again of the business and was told I'd have to wait till 7:30PM for the next person to arrive to work. I am like how, I was just being assisted and the person just leaves in the middle of work. So I called the Police. Mind you all this started at 5:45 PM I texted my insurance card at 5:59PM. The person did not say he was leaving as I was outside when he was getting in his car. This Co had no explanation or recourse for the unprofessional behavior of it's employees. This Towing Co should be closed down IMMEDIATELY.Business response

On 08.20.24 Alpine Towing was called to tow a v2018 Mercedes-Bena C-Class vehicle which was parked in the wrong space by **** *******, the registered owner of that parking space (#**) through the ************************************ - ON CALL PARKING. The vehicle was towed at 1:02AM and was stored at our storage facility located at ********************************************************************* Ms. ***** arrived at our facility at appx:7pm to recover her vehicle. She was charged for the Tow in the amount of $165.95 and 1 day of storage in the amount of $27.33 for a total of $193.28. She paid this amount by *****, the receipt is attached, at 7:08pm. To further verify that the transaction was recorded at that time, simply review the Towing Manifest and copy of the ***** receipt.
It is clearly shown on the signed Invoice that Ms. ***** had not objection to paying the charges due at the time she recovered her vehicle. She did not make any notations that she had to wait any period of time to recover her vehicle. Furthermore she presented her vehicle Registration and driver license as proof of ownership. is no mention of her texting her Insurance card at 5:59pm.
I believe that Alpine Towing did everything correctly regarding this release. Please revie the attached copies for verification.

My truck was towed by Alpine Towing, **** on 3/9/2024. The driver's name was ***************************. I paid $193.28 for this tow. However, my vehicle sustined damage during this tow. More specifically, my drive shaft was damaged which resulted in a $1500 repair. It is sufficient to state that the damage was due to improper towing procedures as there had been no damage to my drive shaft prior. The attendant at the towing location where my car was carried, admitted that the truck was towed using a 2-wheel tow (I think he called it a "self loader"). Due to the way my truck is lifted, it should have been towed using a flatbed truck. The 2-wheel tow made impact with my drive shaft causing damage and the truck began to violently shake while driving. I filed a damage claim with the company at the towing yard where my truck was towed. They stated that I would be contacted by the corporate division within 72 hours. A month has gone by and I haven't been contacted, to date. I called the company myself and was told that I needed to file the claim via email with the claims team and I would be contacted. I did so and have yet to be contacted. I have called the corporate division many times, I have either been redirected or placed on holds that have extended for as long as an hour. I was even hung up on during one call. I have been told I would receive a call back and have yet to receive a return call or progress in my case for over a month at this point.Business response

I am rejecting this response because:My situation is still unresolved. I have made contact, only once, with an assistant manager who could assist with my situation. I have not heard back from him since, nor have I received a response as to the decision of my claim. I have been contacting the company continuously and all my calls are either redirected or sent to voicemail.
Sincerely,

Please find second response to **************** complaint.
Please review the attached photos of the drive shaft which clearly show damage from the front of the drive shaft continuing to the rear part of the damage. This type of damage would be consistent with a vehicle being operated in a forward motion and striking an object which began the damage from the front to the rear area of the damage. Alpine Towing did not do this damage.

Complaint: 21592236
I am rejecting this response because:I do not see any photos attached.
I will also add that damage was towards the rear of the shaft, near to where the tow lifts would have connected. I had driven the truck on the highway prior to it being towed and parked it immediately upon exiting the highway (less than half a mile). There was no shaking or issues during this time. The truck was also fully serviced about a month prior to this incident, again with no issues. The issues began immediately after leaving the tow yard and I returned right when it began. The only difference between when it began shaking and prior, was the tow.
Sincerely,

As I stated in my last response, the damage shown in the photos, supplied by ************, are from the front of the drive shaft going to the rear of the drive shaft. This would indicate that ************ hit something in the road that caused this damage. Our trucks are equipped with an apparatus that picks up the vehicle by the tires only. I do not understand what ************ is implying that we towed his vehicle by the forks on the tow truck. This does not make sense as the forks open up or spread out to pick up the towed vehicle from either the front 2 tires or the rear 2 tires. ************ needs to review the photos again to see that the damaged area goes from the front of the drive shaft to the rear. Thank you
