    I paid for an EIN and a BOI report through this company, i later found out that they are charging for a free service and within 2 hours requested to cancel my order and i would perform myself, they only refunded part of my order because they claimed WA already took their fee's. I then was waiting for my BOI report to be filled, then several week later i get a letter that i am about to be charged late fee's because the BI hasn't been filled. I contacted them 4 seperate times asking about the status with ZERO response from them. I am not wondering if i have been scammed and they're trying to steal my identity?! They charged me $100 for the BOI that i ended up having to file by myself because they didn't do it in time!

    This website poses as the IRS. I already have an EIN which is the service they charged me to apply for. I immediately contacted their “customer service” number, and it says I will be transferred to a representative but then hangs up on me. I have made multiple attempts to contact them via this number but it is a ****. I sent them an email asking them to cancel the charge and that I already had an EIN and did not need their services. I have not received a response.

    I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against USA Tax ID for their misleading business practices and failure to respond to my requests to delete my personal and business information. On 7/23/24, I visited what appeared to be the official IRS website to submit an EIN application for my business. However, I was misled by a website created by USA Tax ID that closely resembled the IRS website, leading me to submit sensitive personal and business information, including my Social Security number and business details. Upon realizing that I had been misled by a third-party service rather than the official IRS, I immediately contacted USA Tax ID to cancel the order and successfully received a refund. However, despite multiple requests, USA Tax ID has not responded to my subsequent requests to delete all of my personal and business information from their records, as required under the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), Maryland Personal Information Protection Act (MPIPA) and other applicable privacy laws. Their continued retention of my sensitive data, coupled with their refusal to communicate, raises significant concerns about their compliance with both Maryland state laws and federal privacy regulations. Their subsequent lack of communication and refusal to delete my information further exacerbates the situation and raises questions about their business ethics and legal compliance. I kindly request the Better Business Bureau to intervene in this matter and assist in facilitating a resolution. My desired outcome is for USA Tax ID to: 1. Immediately delete all my personal and business information from their records. 2. Provide written confirmation that the deletion has been completed. I appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to your assistance in resolving this issue promptly. Sincerely,

    I'm looking for a link to go to the IRS website to obtain an EIN number. Naturally, I googled "obtain EIN", and this website turns up (see attachment). It looks extremely similar to a government website, and its URL has all the keywords, "ein", "taxid", "us", so I think that it is a real government website. It asks for all business information, including my SSN (which makes sense, because one needs to provide an SSN for a Tax ID). I gave them all, and then was charged $249. I even thought that it's the fee the government is charging for a Tax ID. Only later, after submitting the payment, they tried to upsell me a few other business management/accounting services, that I feel suspicious, and I find out that the IRS doesn't charge anything for an EIN. I immediately called them for a refund, but they said that the transaction cannot be cancelled, and if I want to refund, there is a $75 cancel fee (see attachment). This website is indeed a ****, and it is earning money by misleading people. I need a full refund from them. I plan to dispute the transaction with my bank too, however they don't accept pending charges (the credit card transaction is still pending).

    On Sunday June 9, 2024, I began the process to request an EIN for my LLC. Based on the website ****************, I thought I was on an IRS website. Immediately after I submitted my request (order: **********) found the actual IRS website that warns against third-party entities requesting money to complete the EIN process. I called the phone number ###-###-#### at 11:50am Arizona time, to cancel and waited 30 minutes for someone to answer, but no one ever did. I tried the number listed on the credit card charge ###-###-#### at 12:25pm Arizona time, and same thing: no one answered. I also emailed several times so someone would see my cancellation request before processing it. Zendesk request *****, 6/9/2024 Zendesk request *****. 6/9/2024 Zendesk request *****. 6/10/2024 An additional email ticket was created, without a Zendesk number, but I have an email confirmation with all of my emailed details within. Today I called and spoke to Araceli at 6:03am Arizona time, who said she would put in a request to get my cancellation put through. I am requesting a full refund of $249 and a guarantee that all of my personal information has been cleared from their systems.

    DO NOT BE FOOLED BY taxid-usa.com I was seeking to get a Tax ID and thought I was on the IRS website as this site looked very official. I was asked to enter my SSN and thought, okay fine it's the IRS. I was then asked if I expected to receive payments via credit card and I checked the "Yes" box. When I was asked to enter my CC information I assumed it was because I would be receiving CC payments. I wasn't thinking it through. I was then asked to submit the application. When I did, I saw a thank you message for my purchase! I was not looking to purchase anything. Then I got an email saying that my payment had been processed and that I would be receiving an EIN shortly. I checked my bank account and sure enough I had been charged $249! I am irate because I did not realize that I was buying something, I did not realize that this was not the IRS and now, this company has my SSN! A few minutes later I received another email with a PDF attached with the title "EIN." The document looks legit enough, looks like it's from the IRS, but it's not. The EIN was included in the document and was in the right format, but it was obviously invalid. I want my money back and would love to have some sort of assurance that my identity will not be stolen. I am very worried about this.

    I realized to late it was a third person website to the IRS because it mimics although in small print below states as such. I continued with the service in hopes of getting what I needed for an estate. No one enjoys going through this. Each call I made I was told a different thing to do and each response was to do something different. I asked to be refunded but was told I would only get partial refund. You have not completed what you said you would do and I am in need of a full refund in order to actually complete this with my lawyer. I hope this business is told to change its website. I am requesting a full refund and data regarding my case be wiped.

    On 5/8, I thought I was on the IRS website to get an EIN for a new LLC I was going to form. The website indicated that the EIN would be provided in 1-2 business days. They also indicated I would need state filing and BOI for $683 total. Afterward I looked up more information realized that I had entered personal information on a third-party website. I reached out to customer service within minutes if the transaction citing they had mimicked the IRS website and wanted a full refund , which they refused. People should be made aware that this company is attempting to take advantage of new entrepreneurs who don't realize the filings are free. In additional, when I went to file this complaint, I found out that I was not the only one who had been *******. This has happened before yet they are still in operation. I am requesting a full refund and a guarantee that all of my personal information has been wiped from their database/system.

    This website conned me out of $249. On 4/26/2024 I got my LLC and then I needed an EIN afterwards. I thought I was on the IRS website and I questioned why I was being charged so much, come to find out it wasn't even the irs website I thought I was on. Their website includes EIN, IRS, and Federal. Come to find out, I gave all my information to a website that wasn't the IRS. I tried to call and dispute the claim, but it rang and then went blank. I want a full refund and I want my information to not be compromised.. I feel like I need to make another LLC and buy extra identity protection.
