    On August 19, 2024 I hired Ariel L**** (Lopez Expert Appliance Center, 211 N. Solano Dr. Suite 2, Las Cruces, NM) to look at my refrigerator (1- 1/2 years old) which had quit getting cold. After taking a look at it he quickly determined that the compressor was bad and needed to be replaced. He gave me a price of $869.83 and asked for an advance of $662.00 so he could order the compressor for overnight delivery. He was given a check for that amount but didn't receive the part until the 21st of August. Around 1PM on Aug. 21st he brought the new compressor over and began the process of installing it, which took about an hour and a half. Once finished he told me the compressor was not the same type but was probably an "upgraded" type to replace the one that had failed. I paid him the remaining balance of $330.18 and he left after advising me that the temp would stabilize in 12 to 24 hours. After a period of time I checked to see if the refrigerator and freezer were getting cold and they were. After the 24 hour period the compressor was still running and had never shut off. I went to front control panel to check the temperature and noticed that nothing would function; nor would the ice and water dispenser. I called him about that and he said if it was cooling it was all good. After approximately 36 hours I noticed the refrigerator was still running. Thinking maybe he had forgotten to plug the control harness into the compressor I pulled the refrigerator forward and took a look at the compressor. I immediately noticed a fairly large piece of ice on one of the discharge tubes which was dripping water into the bottom pan and upon further examination I saw several spots where his torch had damaged other parts of the refrigerator. It appears that one harness was so badly damaged that the entire harness plug was burned off and missing. As a result, this unit (replacement value $1800) is irreparable. I'm seeking replacement value minus cost of compressor.

    The nature of the dispute is I paid for two separate jobs to be done both where unfinished I get the run around from the owner through the employee because the owner does not answer the phone or call back and I was told multiple times on so time and date he would show up and he would fail to show I asked for my refund which I had to ask the employee so he can ask the owner. I just want my money back so I can hire someone else to get the job done and for this business not to do the same to others

    On April 22 2024 I called Lopez Appliances explained refrigerator was leaking. *** ***** stated it would be $70.00 nonrefundable to get diagnosed or $220.00 for repair. I told him to repair it. Within 30min one of his technicians arrived diagnosed the problem charger me $184.13 and by that Friday would come back to install. He never showed up called *** ***** on Monday April 29 2024 he said he would have technician at my home by Wednesday again no show. It's been more than 5 weeks trying to make contact with him calling several times a week leaving messages to return my call and explaining that my refrigerator stop working with loss of about $300.00 worth of groceries and sending him a screenshot of the money they withdrew from my account and still no response. Had to buy a new refrigerator now I need a refund from *** *****

    It was recommended to me to contact ****** ***** to repair my washer. In the past he had repaired my fridge. 3 weeks ago I contacted him that my 12 year old washer was making a sound. He went to inspect my washer and he said it was the transmission bearing. I asked him if it was convenient to repair it or buy a new washer. He suggested me to repair it. He told me that I had to pay the for the part in advance. I did. He came and replaced the part. I paid the first time 324 dollars. And then when he went to repair it he told me I had a remaining balance of 164 dollars. Totaling 552 dollars. He said that after that it would work well. 2 wash loads later the washer didn’t work again. Started to make a different noise and now the basket tub of the washer was getting damaged. I sent him pictures and he immediately knew what was going on. He said he would be there to fix it again. He came to my house last Friday the 17th and he said it was a Nut. After that he left and tried to wash clothes again and did not work. I called him and he never answered. On Saturday I called him again and he said that he would be here today Monday the 19th to repair it. He did not show up. I called him and he said it was not his fault that the warehouse was not open on a weekend. I also told him I was waiting for him and never showed up. I told him that he had gone twice to repair my washer and still doesn’t not work after more than 500 dollars. And now there is more damage as the basket tub was out of balance. And he is aware of that.

    I called Ariel (I have used him several times in the past with no issues). My dryer was making a noise. January 2024 he came and said one of the rollers was bad. He said he had replaced all the rollers about 4 years ago and if one goes bad the others (4 in total) will go bad soon. I told him to go ahead and replace all 4 of the rollers. He needed the money up front to get the parts. I paid him $300 since I never had issues before. He came back within a couple of days to replace the rollers and told my husband the belt was broke. My husband told him to replace the belt. He said it would be $40. My husband gave him $60 since he would have to come back another day. He came back in a couple of days to replace the belt. After a couple of days the dryer started making the same noise. I called him and he came back and said one of the rollers was bad. He took the roller and said he would be back in a couple of days. Have never seen him again. I called one time that he answered and said he would be by later that day. He never showed up. I call him daily as my dryer is not working. Phone goes straight to voicemail and he never returns my call. This was January 2024, now we are April 11, 2024 and I still can't get ahold of him. I left messages to request a refund or fix the dryer. He does not call back.

    On September the 16 refrigerator stopped working since it’s still under warranty called September 16, 18,20. My father, mother and I went to the store on September 19 and Lopez employee was the only one there. He took a picture of my receipt and said it’s definitely still under warranty and he will let Lopez know and will call me back. Still has not called me back or heard anything. I have tried to call and still goes straight to voicemail and never a returned call. I am an elderly man and sick so it is hard for me to even go out

    10/19/2022 An amount of $200 He committed fraud and stealing money from customers or consumers and never fixing and providing the parts and service. To dispute his whole business hopefully and have him shutdown and go to jail. Needs to be punished. Never have tried to solve the issue they also send us else where and blame it on other things. They have done it to many other people the google reviews show it all.

    We ordered and paid for parts in September.  Only motor came in.  We can't get any response from them when called or go to store to find out when part will come in.  They never let us know.  I even told them I would call service center and talk to them but still no answer.  They called in mid-Oct and said part was in (gasket) and they would come on Monday to install.  Never did - we went there and they said they never called us.  I was there when they did no contact with them since.  They don't answer.

    I paid for a part for a washer repair on October 29th, 2022 . I was told I could only pay cash or debit. So I paid $236 for the part He said it would be in few days. We have called and made 3 appointments., the repair guy no showed each time. No call to say running late, nothing. No responses to texts. I have been in the store 3 times in the last 2 weeks and asked for at least the part I paid for since they can’t seem to install it. I keep being promised it would be there the next day. Still hasn’t happened. Checked reviews and all say the same thing, they pay for part noone shows up to install.

    Paid for a part for washing machine. They took my money and has not done installed, called me. I have gone over to the business twice with no answers. He refuses to call me. I paid by credit card.
