I have an acct that was turned over to collections with ***************** in the amount of $420 from a ******* acct. I googled how to pay this acct and called the number listed and realized over half way into the call that I was on the phone with credit glory. After listening to the man talk and him explaining that he could get this debt removed from my acct I believed him. He told me that if I called ***************** to pay it that it would still remain on my credit and he could get it removed. After agreeing to what he told me and making it sound legit I paid him $299 at which point he rushed me to check my email and sign this and sign that not even giving me a chance to look over it. The contract stated I would only be charged the $299 after the initial work was completed and to date NOTHING has been done about my collection acct and they cannot provide any proof that they even attempted to have the debt removed because of some discrepancies. They state they have a money back guarantee however they will not give you your money back. They are legally robbing people. I would like my money refunded to me as they did not do what they said they were going to do.Business response

February 2024 I attempted to call a company that was reporting on my credit bureau wrongfully. The call somehow got me to Credit Glory. After a long discussion I didn't accept their offer. After a few calls from them me and my wife decided we would use the services offered. Especially when they told us everything would be removed in 90 days. Now it's 10/10/2024 the only thing that has changed was a wrong address on my bureau and they got my wife's middle name corrected on one bureau. I called last month to Credit Glory and complained. They said everything would be fixed no later then 10/2024. When I called today 10/10/2024 they said it would all be corrected by November 2024. *********** (a company you HAVE to use to work with Credit Glory at a cost of $29.99 per month per person) told me and even sent an email showing all the ways Credit Glory messed up and how to fix it. I want my money I gave Credit Glory back.Business response

I am rejecting this response because the sales person, our first contact promised all of our issues would be resolved within 90 days. They lied and continually lied. That is why there are so many complaints. I would like a refund of all my money.

We found that the consumer has been active since January. Throughout their time working with us, the procedures and processes were explained to them multiple times over the phone. Consumer contracted our business to draft and send disputes regarding incorrect information about a debt collection account alongside with his spouse. We provided service as agreed. Called a number found on my credit report. Credit glory (whom didnt answer their line as such or Identify themselves at all during the conversation) I believed I was paying a small fee that I was informed was sent to collection a while back, believing I was speaking to a collection agency to be resolve the issue. The gentleman informed me these charges could be disputed but would cost a fee of $378.I was extremely skeptical and question how they got on my credit report. He said *** you called us. I responded because you show up on my ***** credit history. I paid the fee and was told I would only be charged if I USED their service. I no them hung up did some research and found out they are NOT LEGIT. I am following the guidelines they have to cancel this and will send a certified next day air, written cancellation tomorrow.Business response

They told me I had a derogatory **** on my credit report. I said I want it taken off, they promised if I paid $400 within 90 days or less they would take it off my credit report. That never happened. Then they tried taking $100 a month for a subscription I never signed up with until I had my bank block them. I would like ***** reimbursed the $400, my credit never improved like promised and I got absolutely no help from this scam artist company!!Business response

This company promised to look into a couple of incorrect things that were on my credit report and promised to dispute them. I authorize them to charge $1 dollar in my account on my first account. The dollar didnt go through so I gave them a second account and they ended up charging $200 on each account. With the company **** funding.Business response

On September *******, in response to an urgent issue pertaining to my rental credit history navigated through Intuit Credit ******************* I called the number given for National Credit System who at the time were the egregious third party collectors for ******* Courtyard. After I clicked the number and spoke with a woman name Royal who spoke very fast. I told her why I called she said she needed to look at my credit report and see how to handle the account balance. however she was able to looked at my reports without asking for my SS # or birth date. She said I qualify to have the charges disputed I would need to pay $1.00 she needed a credit or debit card. After that was successful she said my debt would be dissolved within ***** days she asked that I pay $378.00 to file, I would receive a letter by email to give to the prospected leasing agency showing that the charges were being dissolved so I could have housing and avoid being homeless.After getting off the phone I check my bank account that's when I discovered I been scam I learned hadn't paid nor conducted business on behave of a supposed 6 years old debt but instead I was blackmail by additional blackmailing third parties Standard Score and Credit Glory who stole $1.00 and $378.00. I immediately cancelled my bank card started investigating, researching all parties involved where discovery I was not their only victim. As I recollected past events such as accounts hijacked, fraudulent debit card charges, 100's of phishing emails, 100's of likely scam calls and Royal sounds like same person calling my phone from various likely scam numbers days after I filed a dispute with National Credit System navigated through Intuit Credit Karma/ Trans Union.This crime is the perfect example of Organized Fraud defined in Florida Statue ******* also known as The Communication Fraud Act where organized criminals use technology to commit egregious cyber crimes. I signed up and paid a monthly fee with Crefit Glory to dispute accounts that showed up at my credit report for over a year and they said all accounts were disputed and removed from my credit reports as of June of 2024. I cancelled their service because there was no need for the service any longer. Upon applying for an auto loan in September I found 4 of the accounts were on my ********************** report . I called them and they explained to me that the creditors could put them back on my report and that I needed to sign back up and pay another monthly fee for them to look at my credit report and dispute them again. I explained to them that I was never told at any time that a creditor could do this. I asked several times were they sure that all the disputed accounts where off my report when I called them in June before canceling and they said yes. Nothing was said at that time that the creditor could put them back on my report. I just want what I paid for and that in the future they let their clients know that this could happen.Business response

I made an attempt to pay a collection I had with T-Moblie but my phone call was intercepted by Credit Glory falsely portraying as the collection company on my account, when I told them I wanted to pay my collection the representative was very persistent in signing up for $378 to have them dispute my collections rather than pay it off, he insured me they would help clean my credit and to ignore letters from experian and trans union, after doing research I found that I was lied to and I am not satisfied and that this company is a scam and has not sent any dispute letters, Ive tried calling back multiple times and they refuse to provide me proof of any progress, they refuse a refund and now have access to my personal account and debit card. I want them removed from everything, I WANT CREDIT GLORY TO PLEASE BE REMOVED from all access to me, my accounts and a REFUND of $378 please I work very hard in the sun and only wanted to fix my credit not be scammed, and taken for granite please I really need this money for groceries and gas please help

On September 7th I made an attempt to pay off one off my collections, and contacted the number listed for who had my account, the representative I talked to portrayed being a my collection account and was very persistent in putting my $378 into disputes when I wanted to pay off my 1 collection, he stated that if I payed them they wouldnt be cleared that I was better off paying them to dispute not just 1 but all my collections, when i kept asking if this was the collection holder for my TMobile he kept reassuring me yes that it was, it wasnt until after they charged my money from my bank that a different company name came up such as Credit Glory the representative on the phone has lied and scammed me out of my money impersonating another collection business lying to me about being my collection and helping me and now Im out $378 i have called back multiple times and sent emails and they refuse to acknowledge the fraud and refuse to give me any proof of work and refuse a refund when i told them I didnt agree to pay Credit Glory that they told me I was paying the actual real collection on my account PLEASE HELP ME I work very hard in the sun and only wanted to fix my credit please help me this has sent me into a depression of constantly being taken advantage of, they now hold my personal information such as my credit, debit card and social security information, please please help me remove them from all access to me and my information and please help me get a refund please and thank you

8/22/2014 transaction date. $378 was deducted from my account on 2/29/2014. I never signed the electronic verification because I didnt have to money to proceed. I talked to credit glory for a refund and they will not issue. They said that I gave them a verbal to proceed. Note I told them I would contact when I had the funds.
