Pattern of Complaint:

On September 21, 2023, October 5, 2023, and October 19, 2023, BBB attempted to contact Funny Fuzzy regarding patterns of complaints. BBB received complaints alleging Funny Fuzzy is delivering products to their consumers that do not appear to be what is being advertised. There has also been a concern about the quality of the products being delivered. Furthermore, Consumers are not receiving the 14-days policy refund and there has been a lack of response from Funny Fuzzy after the product has been returned. As of November 2, 2023, Funny Fuzzy has not responded to BBB regarding the pattern of complaints. BBB has concerns about such business' practices and urges consumers to use caution based on their complaint activity and lack of responsiveness.

    I purchased a dog car seat on November 2, and it arrived on November 12. After seeing the seat and trying it once I realized it would be too small for my dog. I emailed the company on December 1 to see how to ship it back and request a refund. I got no response, and since then I’ve email 4 more times with no response. I can’t find a phone number to call, and the email address seems to be the only way to communicate with the company. I have no use for the item I purchased and would just like to send it back and receive a refund.

    I received a response from the company, but it’s been almost a week and they still haven’t confirmed a refund. We’ve emailed back and forth several times, and they keep trying to give me a partial refund and not ship the item back. Definitely not ok with me, especially after all this hassle.

    Another update…the business STILL haven’t issued a refund. Every time I email they send messages (mostly automated) that say they’ve escalated my request to the proper dept and thanks so much for my patience! It’s been over 2 weeks!!

    I purchased a couch cover in November 2024. I sent back all but two items. As per my attachments, I did as I was instructed. The return was initiated on December 10th. I received confirmation that the package was delivered on December 13th. Since then, it has been crickets. I paid $13.70 to return these items. I would like my refund and my shipping fees returned.

    I purchased an item from the Funny Fuzzy website on 12/4/24. I noticed 5 minutes after placing the order my shipping address was incorrect as I had just moved. I emailed them 5 minutes later to advise of the error in shipping address as there was no phone number to call and email was the only way of contacting the company per the website. No one got back to me until almost a week later advising the order had shipped and the address could not be changed which was incorrect as I got the shipping confirmation right after they sent me that email. They have refused to give me a refund or change the shipping address. They are keeping funds for an order they know I did not receive. Any time I send an email to try and get resolution, they take days/weeks to reply and it sounds like a bot is replying as the email replies don’t make sense. I would like a refund for my order. This has gone on over a month and is the worst I’ve ever been treated by a business.

    I ordered a large dog bed from funny fuzzy on Nov. 21/24. About two weeks or longer I received the dog bed. It was completely the wrong size. I ordered L they sent me S. I emailed the company to find out how to send the wrong size back. Several emails later I get a email back from the second email I sent. They are offering me 40% off to purchase the correct size and keep the one I have that is the Small. I emailed them back, telling them I don’t want 40% off another bed. I want to return the one I have. I just need shipping label with address so I can return the wrong size dog bed. I get another email, Basically saying I have to pay for shipping and so forth. I emailed back telling them it was unfair business practices to have me pay for shipping twice for a mistake their employees made. I made the mistake and ordered the wrong size I would pay for shipping no problem. They send me an email saying 12/25 they escalated my complaint. I get another duplicate email saying the same thing on 1/10. I can’t even pay for shipping if I wanted too, funnyfuzzy won’t give me a return address. I’m a first time buyer and I used a coupon code to save money, not frustration. I have all documentation and pictures if need be.

    On October 27, 2024 I ordered two items from the Funny Fuzzy company and received them by November 6, 2024 (order number *********). One I liked and kept the other I did not like and initiated a return on November 10, 2024. Their website states a "30 day free return" policy. After much back and forth haggling by email, they wanted a photo of the item, they offered me a partial refund if I would keep it, etc. (as they do not have a phone number to call) they finally agreed to refund my return for $95.20. I sent the item back and it was received by GAO (tracking number ******************). It is now January 6, 2025 and they have my returned item but have not provided me with a refund on my credit card. I have since read all the BBB reviews about this company and it appears they are essentially stealing from customers like myself.

    I emailed this company immediately after my order because the size I bought was way too small for my Labrador (the sizes are unclear on website). They do not have a customer service phone number, only an email (**********************) which they refuse to respond to…the only response I have gotten out of my twelve emails was one saying they “were passing the message along to their higher up” and there has been absolutely no resolution since. I took it upon myself to do some research based off of the situation and found that this is a common pattern for this company. Also this brand has not been verified by the BBB.

    12/03/24 - Placed order for a small pet bed and small pet toy 12/16/24 - Received pet bed wrapped tightly in a thick shrink wrap plus outer wrapping; thoroughly examined wrappings and only item included was pet bed. Assumed toy was coming separately since the bed was shrink wrapped and the package was a cylinder shape, not a box. 12/19/24 - Contacted ********************** to report missing item 12/25/24 - Six days later received a response saying I had to send a photo of the package as it arrived. If they had made that request immediately I probably would still have had the trash but it had since been picked up. It was very tight, messing packaging, why would I save it? 12/26/24 - I promptly responded that the empty wrapping was gone. 12/30/24 - Four days later they responded asking for photos. This was just a $6.99 item. Do they think I'm lying about this? Why would I hold on to the trash when I had no reason to until over a week later? Honestly, I wish I could return the @#$% pet bed too. Neither my dog nor my cat will even get in it but the legit issue is their lack of cooperation when I advised that the toy was not received. And, btw, I just noticed that when they respond, they appear to delete the date that the customer email was sent so their tracking does not reflect their delays.

    Order was placed in early November. Asked for credit in early December Declined because they told me the dog bed was on its way. The dog bed was never received and was actually sent back the their distribution center.

    I ordered something from them after checking the return policy to make sure I could return it. The item did not fit, so I immediately contacted them asking for instructions on how to get a refund as they required on their website. I did this right away because they only had a 30 day Return policy and I want to make sure to get it returned right away. This company has strung me along with infrequent responses to my emails, and refuses to give me return information instead they offered 10% or 40% of my purchase price back, which I had no use for since I cannot use the item! They have dragged us out past 30 days so that now even PayPal can’t help because it’s beyond the specified time. This is terrible practice. Clearly, they are skirting on the very outside of what they think they can do legally and fully dishonorable.
