I signed up with another debt solutions company to help me settle a debt with a credit card of mine. They apparently sold my account to Global Client Solutions when they went under. I was paying the original company money that they transferred over to Global Client Solutions. I have tried multiple times through out 2020, 2021, and now 2022 to get a hold of these Global Client Solutions people. Finally, today I actually got to talk to somebody. They told me that my account has been closed and that I signed an agreement that I don't get my money back. I didn't sign any paperwork with them. They closed my account without me cancelling or telling them to close it and NOTHING has been done with any of the money they took from me over 5 years and NOTHING has been done with my credit card company except they are wage garnishing me for payment of this card. They have STOLEN over $5000 from me and when I want to speak to a manager about them basically saying we don't have to give your money back even thought they didn't do what they said they would do with credit collectors. This company is bunch of lying thieves. DO NOT Sign up with this company.Business response

I began an account with Global Holdings LLC in July 2021 to resolve credit card debt. Trust me, this is the last thing I wanted to do, as a proud, hardworking woman in my 30's. But through Covid, i had experienced some costs, wage cuts, etc. and this seemed to be a very attractive offer. They told me this is the way to go and that I would be able to pay a my credit cards off in a fraction of time, with a fraction of the total amount due. The gentleman that helped me, ****, was very kind and understanding at the time. They ran my credit, gave me a "loan" that I was expected to pay back over the course of time in the amount of roughly $209.75/mo. I was told NOT to pay my cc payments and if the cc companies contacted me or harassed me, I was to let GHLLC know. The payments I made would go towards negotiating my total bill and as I would pay them, they would start to pay off cc's for me. One large cc company has since "charged off" my card and now I'm paying them $500/mo. to pay it off. Other cc's have not been touched by GHLLC, even though I have paid them over $2000 in the last 8 months, and some of my cc bills they were helping to negotiate were under that amount. I have emailed them multiple times to cancel my account, knowing that I have lost the $2000 and would not get it back, but they keep auto withdrawing money from my checking account each month and will not get back to me about my cancellation - even though I did it exactly how the contract says to.Business response

We went through ************* to settle a debt and had to make a deposit to Global Holdings. However, I cancelled the contract and was assured that I would receive a full refund. I never did. Then my husband died and I haven't been thinking clearly, but when I got back home, I had a letter from Global with a balance of $188.41. The original deposit was $450, but Global's fees have eaten it up. I want a full refund as I was told I would receive.Business response
