Good Afternoon ******************,
We take copies of everyone's ID, This proves you were here and the authorized user of the card was present. There are many individuals who always try to stop payment on the transaction after their statement arrives in the mail. When this happens, we forward all copies to the credit card company to show the authorized user of that card was present at the time the card was charged. I apologize this made you uncomfortable. I can guarantee all your information is safe and will be destroyed. I hope this helps you. Mr. C's Towing wishes you an amazing weekend

On Sunday 5/14, my vehicle was towed from a private lot. I called the owner of the private lot and they claimed that they do not have any association with the this tow company and expressed to me that "they ride around the lot looking for cars to tow". I got out of my car and walked to the front of the parking lot to check to make sure I was in the right location which took 5 minutes. When I turned around, I saw my car being towed. Meaning they raced over to my car and immediately proceeded to tow it. According to ********** department of transportation, a vehicle can remain parked for up to an hour without being towed including a private lot. My car was towed in under 10 minutes, 6 minutes to be exact. Their claim is that my car did not have a parking permit to park but they did not allow me time to retrieve the parking permit before poaching my car. They had wrongful possession of my car for less than 45 min and charged me over $300.I am obtaining footage of the incident to show proof of the time frame above and I am preparing to take this company to small claims court to get a full refund. This is a fraudulent company.Business response

Date of Tow 05/13/2023 ********************************************************************************************************************* Apt A My vehicle was towed Saturday due to an event that needed to take place later that day. When I came outside at 6:00am my car was already gone. I believe my car was towed way earlier than The time. Paper work at Mr. ** states they towed my car at 6:05 I. I had to call off work because i tried to get my car right away and the ******************* (6:40am)told me Mr ** Towing had not process my impound and therefore I wasnt able to get a release form up until 3 hours later. Upon arriving to Mr ** and paying $380 I automatically noticed my rear view mirror all the way backwards and the side bottom of the right door was not intact. There is also multiple scratches on the left side door.I immediately took pictures and asked to speak to a manager. The manager never did I was told he would call me Monday and I was never given a call or an answer. I have never received any tickets or have had to experience my car being towed in front of my residence. I understand there are protocols but It is also unfair for paying residents like myself for our car to get towed without a grace ****** or give us the proper time to do so. My car being towed before 6:00 is an abuse of power and fraud. I refuse to have to pay to get my car back under these conditions. Which I do not intend to pay for damages out of my pocket when my car was under their super vision. An employee at Mr ** also noticed my mirror glitching to get into place hence the mirrors are electric.Initial Complaint

My vehicle was towed out of the parking spot I pay for by Mr. ** Towing. I was out of of town when this occurred and my car was parked in MY parking spot in a apartment complex. Why is my car getting towed out of the parking spot I pay for? They said because there was no visible permit. I had a permit in the vehicle and they towed it! When I get in the car The permit was in the vehicle on the floor when I picked it up. Regardless of it being visible or not my car was towed from the parking spot I pay for and there was indeed a permit!!!They charged me towing fees/ storage fees totaling $1380. I also wanted to know who called the tow truck and gave Mr ** a signature at the time of towing so I can handle it with them whether it was the security guard or manager at the apartment complex. When I called to find out about the towing the employees over the phone stated I would get this information at the office at the time of pick up. I came to pick up my vehicle and the employee who was assisting me at the moment even stated MULTIPLE times I would get a document showing who called and signed for towing. After asking multiple times and after employee reassuring I would get the information I wanted, here a comes another employee or manager stating that they CANNOT provide me with the information I am asking for. This manager stated that it could have been a security guard or that they themselves could have patrolled the parking structure. This is very inconvenient and unprofessional of the business itself and the staff. Why cant I know who illegally towed my car? They are clearly withholding information!!! I need to know who called the towing company In the first place so I can get a refund!Business response

My vehicle was wrongfully towed on the evening of March 29, 2023. I was patronizing a bar, **************, when the tow occurred. I parked adjacent to the establishment at around 10:00 P.M. I was there for a little over an hour, when my car was taken. Apparently, that parking structure is designated for the Autozone right across from the bar. When I called the tow number, I was answered by an extremely rude representative who informed me they had my vehicle. I could pay 400+ and retrieve it that night, or wait until 9:00 the next morning and pay 300+ instead. I believe this company is committing predatory towing practices because of the following:*How quickly the towing vehicle arrived *Lack of significant signage of the lot's ownershipBusiness response

Back in September of 2022 Mr. C's towing sent a lien sale for a vehicle impounded by their company. I attempted to inspect the vehicle and to try to pick up the vehicle. Every time they said they no longer had the vehicle even though GPS showed it in their possession. I found out that after months of trying to contact them they sold the vehicle to a scrap yard. They still refuse to contact my office or offer an explanation. They refused to surrender my company's vehicle and unlawfully sold.Business response

I am rejecting this response because: It was a generic response that did not address any issue that I raised. The issue is they stated they did not have our vehicle, refused to allow us to inspect vehicle and sold the vehicle that they said they did not have. All representatives from Mr. C's towing have refused to return my calls. In my previous documentation I provided proof they were refusing my certified letters. I am also filing a complaint with the police department that authorized the tow and if litigation is initiated they will be included as they are the ones that signed the contract with Mr. C's Towing. I have already been in contact with State Officials that agree that Mr. C's failed to follow State Regulations.

I am rejecting this response because:I advised **** at Mr. *** that GPS showed it at your location and she denied having and and refuse to provide access to the car. I have filed a complaint with the *** and with the *******************. It is evident that they are grossly ignoring my requests. All my calls were recorded as advised, all conversation will be transcribed and certified. Have a third party agent that provided pictures outside of this establishment when he was turned away. Yes I had GPS but they would not give access to the vehicle as it was behind locked gate.
