Credit Glory deceptively posed as *************** a *********************** The representative I spoke to on July 11th 2024, who claims to be ********, confirmed that she was with *************** I clearly stated my intent to pay my debt and that I wanted no other service. She never verbally informed me that they are not a ****************** She deceived me into a contract I assumed was related to paying my Debt. I specifically stated I did not want any subscriptions. She also told me there would be no other charges. I believe the company is now further deceiving me as they investigate and will not cancel the service. There are similar numerous reports online. They are taking advantage of people in debt.Business response

Company blatantly lied about the services they would provide and promised services that were not followed through up. The correct questions were not asked and the company took advantage of me as a customer to get my money while falsely advertising their services.Business response

If I was falsely marketed say what they would only dispute open account for lbnb funding. They continue to send out dispute letters to all All creditors based upon a service that is a month behind and the accounts were already closed. I was assured that I would see the documentation what was done. I requested Said documentation three times. I was given three different stories. The first time I was told I was receive the documentation via email. The second time they were going to have an account manager call me. The third time I called and just requested a refund since the services were not completed And for the simple fact that I had been lied to multiple times by multiple of their agents. The final representative I talked to today on August 12th and told me that she wasn't sure why anybody told me anything if they did because it was all false. Yet she was unable to provide me a refund. Even though she admit that I was lied to multiple times.Business response

I initially signed up for Credit Glory because they said they could likely get an old account removed from my credit report, within ***** days then it became 90 days, then 4 months, then 8 months I ended up cancelling ******************************************************************************* to stop making payments towards it.Business response

On July 1st, Credit Glory LLC contacted me about paying off a collection account. They seemed legitimate, so I agreed to work with them to fix my credit. They promised to send a dispute letter to the credit bureaus and said my credit would update on August 7th.When I asked for an update, they demanded $50 to check my credit score. Suspecting a scam, I contacted the credit bureaus, who confirmed they had no records of any disputes. Credit Glory LLC couldnt provide proof they sent anything. This company appears to be a scam and doesnt have a proper address.PLEASE DONOT WORK WITH THEM YOU WILL BE SCAMMED This version captures the essential details while being more direct.Business response

I was attempting to get in touch with a collection agency to pay off a debt when my call was intercepted by this fraudulent company who portrayed themselves as the company I was reaching out to. Their representatives are misleading and blatantly lie about what it is that their company does. This company is stealing money from innocent people who want nothing more than to improve their credit and personal lives. Nearly $500 was taken by this den of thieves and at no point did they deliver on what it was they promised. This company should be investigated and shut down immediately. It appears Im not the only one that they have scammed.Business response

My husband and I had a collection acct with xfinity. They claimed the money I gave them was to pay off my debt and have it removed from my credit report. Its been 3 months and they continued to take money monthly from me and said today they dont pay off your debt they send letters. My mom just died and we need to move and they will not refund us!!! Instead they want more money. Can anything be done with the situation As they presented themselves as a debt collector, not debt service we dont have anything else in collections. We wouldve never used a deck collection agency service thank you. I need help.Business response

This company promised to work on my credit, they did not come through Aunt not only did my credit go down but what was successfully disputed was based on my own work and not theirs. I want nothing more than my money back because they did not render the services promised.Business response

I called the creditor with intentions to pay and thought Credit Glory was in association with ***************** System. I was told that I didn't need to, it would be better to dispute it and charged $200.00. I was told they could get the inaccuracies off my report. My credit reports are still riddled with inaccuracies and I had to dispute the delinquencies myself. I am locked out of their website and the contracts sent to my email won't open so I can't upload a copy. I've called twice and they say without my account number they can't access my file. They breach the contract by not doing anything stipulated then retract any evidence to prove malfeasance. And they are writing fake reviews to attract more unknowing participants. I was told I wouldn't have to pay the $321.00 to ***************** Systems if I paid Credit Glory $200 dollars and an additional $99 a month. After I ended up paying them and ***************** System also, I called Credit Glory and was told without the contract and my account number, there was nothing they could do.Business response

Consumer contracted our business to draft and send disputes regarding incorrect information about a debt collection account. We provided service as agreed. As consumer was made aware on the call, in the signup flow, our website, and the contract, we cannot and will not make promises or guarantees as to outcomes as we have no control over the result of the disputes we send. Consumer's account with us has been cancelled and they will no longer be billed. Consumer was settled as per their email, and they should consult with their bank within the next 3-5 business days. My previous apartments turned cleaning fees over to a collection agency. When I contacted the collection agency they told me if I paid credit glory almost 400$ then my credit would be wiped clean and I could cancel at anytime and still get my updates with things taken off my credit. Almost two Months go by and nothing changes. However, they kept trying to charge me card 99$. I contacted them and told them I didnt feel Comfortable to keep paying the money and nothing is happening with my credit. I told them I would like cancel the subscription but I would also like to see where the almost 400$ went. They refused to show me what they actually did when it came to getting things off my credit they told me if I didnt pay more money then I basically couldnt see the report. I was most definitely scammed!! I dont understand how these people would have access to collection agency info.Business response

Upon further investigation we concluded that consumer contracted our business to draft and send disputes regarding incorrect information about a debt collection account.
