I received the bill vis mail today (9/30/2024) for Notice # *********** Date of Violation is 4/12/23 (Violation reason is no Valid license plate registered??) stating that will send to collection if payment not received in 10 days, which I have never received the notice. Why am I receiving 1st notice in almost 18 months later? *** not doing fair business to client, I shouldn't be receiving a bill from them.

Dear BBB,I received in my mailbox today a notice of unpaid parking violation fee (Notice# **********) from IPM for their 6th & King location. This notice claimed that "this is your final notice from our office" and they will forward it to a collection agency unless "full payment is received in our office with ten (10) calender days from the date of this letter" and in the lower section they labeled "Letter date: August 26, 2024".First of all, I have never received any prior communications regarding this violation that occurred on 06/26/2023. It has been well over a year since the claimed incident happened and this is my first time hearing about it, and naturally, I don't have proof of payment that long back. Besides, the mail arrived well past 10 days after the so-claimed "letter date", and anyone can type any random date on a piece of paper. For all I know, they could've mailed this yesterday and only put an overdue date to add a sense of urgency and menace for *********** addition, the notice included a picture of my car facing front as proof, with no ticket shown on my window. For all I know, anyone could've taken a picture of my car anywhere I parked at any time. The picture provided does not provide proof that I parked at the claimed location at claimed time without paying properly (again, no ticket on my window). If you are able to take a picture on the site, you are able to leave me a ticket on my window right then, instead of only mailing me 15 months after the fact. I am not accepting a parking ticket with no adequate proof, especially 15 months after it happened.I am not the only victim, there are plenty of others who shared similar experiences. Check their yelp review here: ************************************************************************************************************** From all the reviews it is safe to conclude that at its best, this company is negligent in fixing their misleading kiosk and signage. Please investigate further into this sort of unethical practice.

I received a parking ticket on 7/11/24 from IPM. I tried to pay my ticket on their website, but the website was down, so I immediately sent in a check for the ticket amount, $60. They cashed my check (image attached), but then I received a notice in the mail (image attached) that the ticket was outstanding and that I now owe $80. I immediately went on their website and disputed the ticket. Their system says I should hear back via email, but I heard nothing about my dispute. I tried to call, but there are no options to get through to a person. I sent in an inquiry via their website, which says someone will respond in 48-hours, but again, I've heard nothing. When I check their website, my ticket is still outstanding (image attached), but as I've stated, they already cashed my check for this ticket. I'm looking for my ticket to be closed out so I have confirmation that this will not be sent to collections.

Parking violation #********** Location: 5th and *******, Plate#: BGJ3623 I was given a ticket for no advance payment after having paid for more than enough parking time using the only available blue sign. My friend also received a ticket at the some lot on the same day as well as a previous day. At this point, I am very suspicious of this companys operating practices. I, in good faith, paid for parking and am now being asked to pay 4x the amount I originally paid for. In addition to this parking violation being voided, I want to know what additional measures will be taken to avoid the erroneous penalization of patrons.

This violation was voided  immediately as the lot checker realised he had made a mistake. If the ******** friend wants to have us investigate their violations they can submit a dispute through our website.

To Whom It May ********* received a letter on 8/1/2024 saying that this was my final notice to pay a parking violation for an alleged parking infraction on 9/30/2023 at 6th and King for $80, which will be sent to the debt collections agency. This was the first I'd ever known that I had an outstanding ticket. In looking up the location of this lot, the only time I've ever gone there is to pick up a drink order at Oasis, and someone would be waiting in the car to move it if necessary. I would never just leave the car unattended and not pay for parking. Why would I risk an $80 fine when I can just park at ********* and get groceries for $10 and free parking? Furthermore, if a ticket had been provided at the time of infraction, almost a whole year ago, I definitely would have addressed it then. Would attendants just take photos of people's license plates and write up tickets without placing them on the car because they can see someone sitting in the car?I contacted the company via email and their website but have yet to receive a response from them. I have tried calling the company but there is no way to speak to a live person. Please advise what my recourse is on this. Thank you for your help.

I received a parking violation of $80.00 that occurred on January 19,2024. I received the violation letter from IMP in July. I recall a night their equipment was not working - many cars were inconvenienced and we all called their number to try to get out if garage - some credit cards worked and others did not. Finally some raised the gate and let us out. I have no way to prove I paid as my passenger was paying for parking. At this late date I do not feel Im libel for this. I almost feel this is a scam

Dear BBB,I am writing to file a complaint against International Parking Management (IPM) regarding unjustified violation notices and a lack of prior notifications for the alleged infractions.Details of the Complaint:Violation Notice Case **********: I received a notice stating I owed a fine for using paid parking services on February 20, 2024. However, I did not use any paid parking services on that date. I believe this notice to be a mistake.Lack of Prior Notification: This notice indicated it was the final notice before being sent to collections. I had not received any previous notifications regarding this violation, which left me unaware of the issue until now.Additional Notice Case **********: I received another notice for case ********** a few days ago. This notice pertains to an alleged violation on February 9, 2024, which was 147 days ago at the time of writing. Again, it was presented as a final notice before collections, with no prior notifications.Failure to Notify of Multiple Fees: IPM failed to notify me about the fees owed for both cases ********** and **********, causing significant confusion and concern.Desired Resolution:I request a thorough investigation into these alleged violations and an explanation of why I was not notified about these issues earlier.I seek the reversal of these fines if they are found to be issued in error.I request that IPM ensures proper notification procedures are followed in the future to avoid similar situations. Please respond as soon as possible to address these concerns.Thank you for your attention to this matter.

An envelope with the citation would have been placed on the windshield at the time of the violation being issued.  I have attached time stamped photos of the vehicle parked, as proof that this vehicle did use paid parking on that day. If this ****** would like to pay these violations within the next 10 days we will remove the late fees.

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and I will pay the fines for both tickets. I'd like to know how and when I can pay them so that it can be done without the late fees. Additionally, if there had been tickets placed on my windshield I would have paid them immediately. Once my payment question is answered I will be satisfied to have this case closed. Thank you.

    Sincerely,

Violation date was 2/25/2024 and the FIRST notice of this violation was delivered to me via mail on 6/27/2024. The notice includes a demand for $80 and a threat to send me to collections if payment is not received within ******************************************************************************************** a automated response tree and the contact us section of the website is a dead end to submit requests for communication. No live customer support to dispute the charges. I have submitted a dispute on the charge, according to their website, all charges are put on hold for us to 7 days while the dispute is deliberated. I am HAPPY to pay for the parking at the normal rate since I must have forgotten to do so at the time of the violation. I will not however pay $80 and be threatened with being sent to collections over a parking ticket that was not placed on my vehicle as shown in the attachment for a violation that occurred more than 120 days ago with no communication or notice until now.

Company: International parking management Date of citation: 2/23/2024 Invoice number: 162-400-3716 Amount of citation: $80 I was parked on the street with my disability placard clearly displayed. I found the ticket shove down in the windshield of my car. I contacted IPM to resolve this matter, to no avail. Now they are threatening to send Me to collections. Clearly being disabled, following the rules of street parking with my placard, and no other indication that that parking spot was supposedly a spot in a lot. I have tried to work this out with them to both of our benefits, There is no way to reach anyone to get a response through email. I pay my bills and try to respect parking around the city and pay my way. I have no past parking citations with this company or any others and frustrated to think that I can be strong armed and having to pay $80 when I parked on the street. The picture they took of my car does not show the street. It looks like I am in a lot, but I am not and I have a witness. I would just like to get this resolved, and not be fearful of being forced to pay $80 that I feel I do not know or to have my name taken to collection. Please advise thank you.

Disabled placard is good for street parking for the City of ********  IPM / Laz is a privately owned company and does not offer free parking, even with a placard.   The violation is valid.

On April 18, 2024, I was unjustly filed a parking violation #********** citing lack of advanced payment, requesting that I pay $80 in fines, when I actually paid $17.83 and obtained a receipt from Honk, and did not let the time expire.Next day I called IPM by phone to explain my situation, and there is no option to speak to a human being. On the same day, I sent IPM an email to its ******************* (attached), attaching the violation notice, my explanation and a copy of my advanced payment receipt from Honk (attached)No one from IPM replied to my email, nor contacted me by phone. Instead, last week I received in the mail a "Notice of Unpaid Parking Violation Fee", again, asking me to pay $80 in fines. This violation notice is a mistake and I can prove it if I can talk to someone from IPM.
