I have a monthly parking spot with City Parking at their ********************** location in an apartment building where I am a shareholder. On June 21 when I asked to retrieve my car after about 4 weeks, I found that the car had not been parked correctly and the key fob was malfunctioning due to it being left in excessive heat in the garage basement. This caused the car door not to open, so I could not get into my car. The garage personnel did not speak English and were unqualified to assist. Finally, I had to find a solution on my own to manually open the door.Attached are multiple emails sent to City Parking **************** and Management to get a long-term resolution, so this does not reoccur. I was told to file an "incident report" at the garage, but staff have refused to provide the form to do so. Several additional emails have been sent which have been ignored. This is not the first time that there has been an issue with no management level staff from the company's office available to discuss and resolve the matter. They refuse to speak to customers despite many phone calls and emails.Emails attached are self-explanatory.Customer response

This is the second time our car was damaged in the garage at ******************************************************** owned by City Parking LLC.. Every time we provide images of the new damage the just say they are not at fault and dont porvide any details. We know the damage is hppening in the garage but there are no cameras and there is no explanation of how to provide proof that would be sufficient for a damage claim to be approved. We have heard from several of our tenants that this is a constant issue and I am not sure it's actually being investigated or looked at or reviewed by anyone. They also never respond within the 10 business day timeframe unless I reach out on my own and continue emailing them about it.Initial Complaint

I am a monthly customer of **********************. After taking my car from the garage, I noticed that the back brake light had been smashed and the back hatch had been smashed and twisted out of shape. I asked the garage manager about the damage, and he helped me file a claim. He told me that one of the other garage attendants admitted he had damaged the car. After acknowledging receipt of my claim, the staff at City Parking have not replied to my inquiries about the claim in more than a year. They provide no phone number or name to allow you to contact anyone in the claims department. When I call the main office line and tell them I'm calling about a claim, they transfer me to voicemail. From reading other complaints in this forum, it is obvious that City Parking has a deliberate strategy for dealing with claims. They acknowledge damage to a vehicle and encourage the owner to submit a claim. Then, instead of explicitly denying the claim, they gradually make it impossible to contact them. They calculate, correctly, that most drivers will not go to the trouble of suing them. However, based on the obvious pattern of deliberate conduct affecting many drivers, I believe a class action lawsuit would be appropriate and would remove the burden from each driver to litigate his or her claim individually. If City Parking do0es not address my claim, I will be organizing such a case shortly.Initial Complaint

When I returned at 430pm, the manager told me that they had broken back window because employee backed the bike rack into the wall, completely shattering the back glass. Subsequently, they offered for me to leave the car, or discuss with my insurance, I chose the latter because I was with my 2 kids and had bikes. He gave me a claim number and said to get it fixed and the city park would pay for damage. I got car fixed, and sent the invoice to city park. Hello *********** (City Parking) damaged my car several times when I used their parking service without taking any responsibility for the damages caused. They consistently acted in a hostile and unprofessional manner. The details of each incident are described below. The first parking incident occurred on 3/8/23, when the rear bumper of my car was damaged as it was parked into the wall. I received the report on the same day.The second incident occurred on 5/23/23. The trunk and the bumper had severe damages. The third and last incident occurred on 7/11/23. At this time, in addition to severe scratches, my trunk was dented.Every time I reported the issue to the staff, they were extremely unprofessional, rude and ignorant. The corporate office was not reachable by phone. After numerous emails for each incident, it took them 2-3 months to simply reply with denial of their responsibility for the damages.Attached to this form are all of the claims, photos, and 2 estimates from 2 different auto shops.Customer response

I pay for monthly parking at the City Parking garage#*** at ****** ****** Ave. On August 3, 2022 I notice damages to my vehicle I spoke to the parking attendant manager and he put in a claim gave me the claims number to report damages and he said they would repair it. *** emailed the claims department they responded it would take 7 to 10 business days and they would investigate and repair the problems, months went by nothing, no investigation no repairs. I reached out to them a few months later to no avail. On March 10,2023 I noticed more damages scrapes and scratches on my driver side bumper. I filed another report and sent pictures once again they responded but still waiting for an investigation and for them to fix my suv. I still park there and pay a monthly bill. I am a paying customer and these people wont take take full responsibility for the negligence of their employees. I drive a 2020 ******* Santa Fe that lease is up next year I refuse to have to pay for damages I did not do. I need some assistance, I can not afford a lawyer but I think its time I take them to small claims court. If that is the case I still want to report this parking garage for the poor business, bad customer service, and lack of professionalism.
