My car was parked at the company's lot located on Boreum Pl in Brooklyn, ********, on September 1st, 2022. While parked at the lot, my car was damaged on the rear passenger side and rear wheel. When I spoke to the lot attendant about the damage, he was apologetic and had already completed an incident report for me to sign. The Claim form had a claim number attached, and the attendant instructed me on what to do if I did not receive a response within two weeks. I followed the instructions and emailed the company's claims department to discuss the damage. I allowed the company to conduct its internal investigation to confirm that the damage was done on their premises. They gave me a window of time that I would receive a response on my claim. That timeframe has come and gone, and the company claims department does not respond to my email inquiries, and they do not pick up their company phone line.Initial Complaint

Reporting Issue with City Parking - **************** Garage #***. I've reach out numerous times to attempt to get a resolution regarding the repair of my vehicle. Damage occurred to my vehicle on 6/14/22. I reserved a spot for my car and entered the **************** Garage located at **********************************************. Upon returning to retrieve my vehicle at approximately 6:45pm, a visible scratch was noticed on my drivers side rear quarter panel that was not on the vehicle, I reported this to the agent, whom attempted to give me a hard time, saying that he didnt do the damage and that it didnt happen at the garage. I was adamant that the damage incurred at the garage, upon searching for my phone to take a picture and document the damage, I further inspected the vehicle to see that not only was my car scratched, but so was my rim to the point where you can see that one of the parking attendants hit a column located in the garage, which has a wooden protective barrier around it and is painted yellow. This is evidenced by the bright yellow paint that was painted on the columns protective barrier to the point that the paint has transferred onto both the rim, which was also scratched and damaged and to vehicles tire where you can see visible paint what is located below where the damage was incurred on the body of the vehicle. The claims department responded to my email on 6/24/22 requesting me to wait 10-days for them to conduct their investigation and I've haven't heard from them since. As of today, it has been 12-weeks since the incident occurred. They have not reached back out to contact me and seem to be dodging my emails, you can't get anyone in their claims department to answer the telephone nor return any of the many voicemails that I've left. Attached please find the incident report, pictures and emails sent to the business.Initial Complaint

I am a monthly ****** at City Parking Garage, located at **********************************. My car was damaged on the right hand side front panel and the passenger side mirror by a garage attendant and the manager put in a claim through the main office on April 11, 2022, claim number *******. I have tried calling many times over the past four months to see what the status of my claim is without any results. I finally received an email from them on August 18th that they are investigating the claim and it will take **** business days to provide me with the information as to where to take my car to be repaired. I explained that my case is urgent as my passenger mirror is about to fall off and I can't wait any further. I have heard nothing back yet. I called yet again before Labor Day and was told the claim was on the Director's desk and it will be signed the following week. I called today to check and was told that the Director is out all this week, as well. I asked to speak with the Supervisor but was told no one was available. I asked for the name of the Director but was told by *******, the employee who answered the phone, that she does not have that information to give me. So I am left still waiting for the approval of the "Director" whose name the employee is not allowed to give me. Calls transferred to the **************** line just ring constantly without anyone answering or any voice mail optionsInitial Complaint

Not sure where to complain to. This parking facility is adjacent to ************** making very convenient when traveling with older family members. The workers close off three levels of this structure unless you give them $20 on top of the $45 you pay to park. If you dont pay the fee you walk down three to four flights of stairs. While I know my decision to park at facility but I do so because my family wouldnt be able to walk the additional blocks where this doesnt occur. I complained to City Parking at ************** which conveniently didnt have managers in hand nor do managers have a set schedule. Life is costly enough someone should not be allowed to do this. I dont know if they are even workers or just people in the neighborhood passing off as employees.Thank youCustomer response

I am a monthly parking customer of ************************* Friday May 6 at 8:30pm, I picked up my Lexus SUV and found a white scratch on the bumper (which is black). I pointed it out to the attendant, and we both took a picture of it. He said I had to file a claim with the manager (*****), but ***** was not on duty. On Sunday May 8, I returned the car, but again ***** was not on duty. I was unable to file a claim. On Friday May 13, I went back 2x (in the morning and in the evening), but again ***** was not on duty. I was unable to file a claim. Finally, after 4 attempts, I received a claim from ***** (********. I emailed City Parking Claims *********************************** 7 more times regarding my claim status:6/3, 6/10, 6/23, 6/27, 6/29, 7/11, 7/12 Only after those 7 attempts, I received a response from the ***************** saying the following:-Dear Client:This letter shall serve as acknowledgement of your claim arising out of an alleged damage to your vehicle at our ***************** Garage LLC.We have carefully examined all available resources, documentation and circumstances surrounding this incident. However, because this alleged damage was not reported to us until after the vehicle had been driven from the premise, this email will serve as a formal denial of the claim presented and to further advise that no voluntary payments will be made by us.Moreover, we indicated this in writing under the Terms and Conditions on the Monthly Registration Document that was provided when you applied:(Item#4: The garage cannot be held responsible for damage claims unless an attendant is notified before the vehicle leaves the premises and a Claim Report is filed). Please let me know if you have any questions.-Of course, the Terms of filing a Claim are impossible if the garage doesn't have staff to file a claim, which is what they informed me on 4 occasions. This behavior is fraudulent and dishonest.Customer response
